Why do people think that Israeli should just quietly hunker down and let Gaza continue raining missiles onto them and keep their citizens captive?
No one thinks that. Many think they ought to be thinking strategically and tactfully.. sending special agents in to find the hostages. They have many agents and intel inside Gaza - they haven’t thought out a thing!
@@bellad1063 You do realize that special forces are currently conducting missions inside northern Gaza to do just that. But safely extracting any hostages in southern Gaza or down in the potentially-boobytrapped tunnels is akin to magical thinking. From what I have heard the few hostages that they recovered so far had already been killed.
The problem is, they use hospitals, schools, and people in general as shields. They are 100% cowards. They cut off the heads of babies and then cry when they blow up a hospital and blame it on Israel. They have killed and are holding Americans as hostage. They will not hesitate to kill a hostage on live social media, as they already have. To get anyone out alive is going to be a issue because of these factors alone, never mind the tunnels and boobytraps in the tunnels where they are probably keeping them. There never was a Palestinian state , even before the state was created. Palestinian leadership have used terrorism to prevent any creation of the state of Israel . In 2005 , They were given land and voted in Hamas . Hamas doesn’t want Israel to exist , they don’t want any two state solution

What about the years of Israel's actions, which have resulted in the loss of innocent lives, including women and children? What about the continuous expansion into Palestinian territories, where they build settlements? It's perplexing... And now, they express their grievances? Perhaps it's time to let them be. After enduring years of violence, it's not surprising that they would eventually retaliate. What other options do they have? This situation is just so ridiculous!!
