The only informative part of this review is the towing mpg For instance - How does the cars rear suspension sit when the boot is fully loaded and the caravan is hitched with 80kg on the tow bar?
Totally agree. I have a 320d Touring, and it has been an outstanding tow car. Very stable when towing, and the fuel economy towing is excellent, especially on motorways; I averaged 30+ mpg on French motorways towing at the speed limit with the cruise control on a couple of years ago. I think it tows better than the 3 ltr TDi Quattro A4 Avant it replaced.
Is there anywhere I can find information on the towing capacity of the 320d versus road incline? I need to get my motor boat up a winding road with about a 15% grade.
Why don't people talk about how easy different cars can reverse a caravan? Long wheel based cars with a poor turning circle will be more difficult. You can have loads of power but if you turn up to a campsite and you can't reverse it you just look like a noob
Bmw's generally have very good turning circles. My old 330d was the only car to ever turn in one at the end of my street, i haven't managed it in small hatchbacks

Thanks for this, it’s a car I have been looking at for a while. Thanks again, Oliver

How would the m340i touring be for towing a caravan?
Considering how in-depth you gets theses vehicles why are the videos so short
Would an aquarol and a wastemaster fit in the boot??
Yes no problem.
