Like the older watches and it kills the battery very quick in a day or 1 and 1/2. SMS and notifications come through you just have to set it up in the app.

Bysler - I have the Mini. The notification feature is NOT reliable. Sometimes, it gets every notification and even before they show on my iPhone screen. But most of the time, it doesn’t get any notifications at all. It’s not a big deal to me - I don’t rely on the watch for these anyway. But it’s irritating that this brand new watch isn’t working as advertised. Also, the weather feature often reports it can’t get updates.
Hey Chris good review! Out of topic but could you look into testing the 888 when you receive the mi 11? Alot of people reporting high battery consumption and heat.
Sure I will run my normal battery life test and thermal imagining camera test to check the thermals after 1 hour of demanding gaming like Genshin Impact.
I have good results (as far as I can tell) during the night with my GTR 2e, but I took a nap the other day, nearly 1-2 hours of real sleep, and it was not logged. A bit disppointed, as it seems quite accurated for the rest.
Weird, now I'm looking at the previous week, and everything is recorded... I'm 100% certain the nap was NOT there later the same day after synchronization !

The price where I live is identical, 170euros for the gtr2 classic, and black GS pro. I love the looks of the classic, but overall, probably the gd pro is the better one. accuracy lol i can't find any use for it at all. amazfit recommends for the watch to stay 30 minutes on/in whatever air/surface you want to measure. it'll tell you air or skin surface temperature but not body temperature. i wanted to get 2e for body temp but since it's not capable like oral or IR thermometers, i'll go with mini instead. can walk into any dr office to get my temperature for free lol
I would NEVER use a "fitness" tracker whose data cannot be controlled = offline. Normally you can expect the connected app to send some "technical data" or whatever they call it, to be sent home, aka China. Selling user health data and tracking profiles for marketing is nothing to be NOT warried about.

I am probably too old, as I used heart puls watches in the 90ies, already. and btw: I deactivate all unnecessary permissions from ALL apps I have on my smartphone. People would be amazed how much permissions these apps use, and on how few they still run. Just the Amazon/ Ebay e.g. needs NOTHING, except network.

Interesting, I don't see any measure of body temperature in the app demonstration. Does the temperature measurement get used to calculate stress levels or is it just an on watch feature so you can figure out temperature at the time? If that's the case, I'm thinking the standard GTR 2 with the onboard speaker is more useful

I know you've bought the mi 10 ultra from trading Shenzhen but I've heard they're not so legit and that people had problems with customs insurance or the like. What's your experience with buying from China? I really don't wanna have to buy the global Mi 11
In Europe they are being much more strict now with stuff that comes from China, so the possibility of you having to pay VAT is pretty high. It really sucks. Talking with someone working on borders they told me if there are 100k items that arrive from China, they have to check at least 40k, so if you are lucky and are among the remaining 60k you won't have to pay VAT.

From what I experience Series 2 and Series 2e have same processing (Gtr and Gts) , both of them smooth and great touch response.. But if u compare Gts 2 series with Gtr 2 series, Gtr 2 series had more stuttering than Gts 2 series when u slide in homescreen.. I don't know why.. But I think its because they have different screen resolution, Gtr series have bigger resolution

you can export gpx file from zepp to whatever gpx editor/reader you prefer. in mini gps is sometimes as accurate as in my s10 phone but if i stand in one place too long or indoors i get a bunch of zigzag lines. also sometimes when starting and finishing indoors the start and end point are very far apart, like 20-40 feet. if you buy amazfit test it without the phone/zepp app connected to the watch. let it sync with zepp without tracking in phone. use a different phone with accurate gps and without zepp app installed to compare watch gps accuracy. i haven't tried hiking with it. only street.
No just the GTR 2e and GTS 2e. I didn't have time for the GTS 2 Mini GPS testing but my wife is using it now (gave it to her) and it seems fine from her walks.

Cool watches but without internal storage they're not useful for me as exercise devices. Who wants to go for an hour long run with a phone strapped to them or in their hand? I've done it but it bugs me the whole run.
1) Lots of people go to gyms where having a phone next to you is not an issue, and 2) You carry a phone in case you get urgent messages from family or work, or you need a phone in case of an emergency.

Check golden reviewer youtube channel, he tested the mi 11 and it sucks balls in terms of heat and power consumption

Hi yes they do. It wasn't 2 minutes for me, much less about 1 minute or so and the app updates the AGPS to make it quicker.

No the 2e versions do not have onboard storage, you can only use the watch as a remote for music on your phone.

You need your phone for the notifications to be in BT range. But there is an LTE version coming that will allow that.

Zepp app has Strava integration, you just need to link into your account.
Did you test the GPS with GTS 2 Mini?
No just the GTR 2e and GTS 2e. I didn't have time for the GTS 2 Mini GPS testing but my wife is using it now (gave it to her) and it seems fine from her walks.

Set it in the app and your phone then sync it and it will sync the time
The main flaw with those smartwatches is the lack of Spotify. Leaving the smartphone at home is the best feature a smarwatch can offer.
