Killed it again! You always nail exposure, man. I'd love to see your process. The highlights are never too bright, the shadows are never too dark/grainy, the midtones are just right and the contrast is perfect. I can never get my stuff this perfect and clean!
Dude, thank you so much. I need to film with you man! When I can light ny own scenes like this, I make it my priority to retain my highlights as much as possible. I just ETTR as much as I can before losing them completely. Having a waveform on the atomos helps too, especially with skin tones. I try to keep those around 75IRE when shooting on the fs5. Exposing on the fs5 can be a fickle one though. Luckily, for these shoots I had plenty of time to light and adjust. It was sooooo fun. Thanks again man! Love you stuff. :)
Great work! So many gorgeous shots, well graded, nice edit pacing and complimentary music. I was only left wishing we could have heard some of the instruments in the video.
Beautiful work! After selling my RED, I decided to go for the FS5 solely because of your "Storm" film. I'm flirting with the idea of the ZCam E2 4K, but your work keeps me inspired towards this amazing camera. I think nowaways it's all subjective - as images have topped a certain threshold - so it comes down to aesthetics. Do you like the aesthetics of your camera. And with your work with the FS5, you continually prove it produces the images I want. I think I'll hold on to it and enjoy it for a while - or even a lot - longer.
This is absolutely stunning and very inspiring to me. Ran across your ZCAM stuff. I just ordered one and can't wait to give it a go. It's my first real cine cam coming from the mirrorless world!
Would love to know your grading process for this film. I loved the colors you achieved and looking to similarly improve in this direction! I'm shooting FX9 and Sony A7Siii. but solid work guys, loved the film! No pressure, but on our channel is another Luthier film quite similar. Found yours after we had already finished ours but so fun seeing the different approaches
What a quality production, if only I could join you for a day to learn from the process. Are you willing to make a BTS someday? Lots of interested people I think. Looking forward to your next work!
Hey man, awesome work. I do have a question : i'm looking for a new cam and can't decide between Zcam E2 4K, BMPCC 6K and Zcam E2 6K with the super 35 sensor. You seems to own 2 of those, what would you recommend ?
AMAZING!! Man you are just leveling up in every way. Few quick questions. what was your lens choice when mounted on the Crane 3 lab? Also did you shoot in raw to the atomos recorder?
With all the new camera coming out. You keep me confident that my FS5 Mark II is still a wonderful camera that can produce great images. I’m just doing something wrong lol.
Hell yea man! Dude, the fs5 is still an AMAZING camera! I think the secret with this (and most cameras) is ETTR. If you are filming in slog2 or 3, it's always nice to have LUT on a monitor to hit your exposure.
I love your style. The story that you tell with the camera is just perfect. I'm curious if you are going to pick up the FS7 to utilize the 10bit instead of the 8 on the FS5.
I know this is a 3 year-old comment, but (one of) the reasons he is using the Inferno is so that he can record RAW (should he choose to do so), at a whopping 12-bit.
Beautiful work. Just saw your channel and your work is remarkable. Do you have a reason for choosing SLOG2 Over 3? I've read most of Alisters blog post so I understand it isn't much difference between the two, which is why I am wondering why you choose it!
Hello my name is Anthony. I'm a videographer trying to find a great gimbal for my Sony FS5 mark ii. There are so many gimbals, I'm trying to stay on a budget. But I was curious which gimbals are compatible for my camera. I've seen options like the DJI Ronin S, DJI Ronin M, Zhiyun Crane 2, Feiyu Ak2000S 3 Axis Handheld Gimbal Stabilizer, FeiyuTech AK4000 DSLR Camera Stabilizer gimbal. I'm not sure if any of these gimbals are compatible. Please let me know and also if there are other options for gimbals that I did not mention
Dude I love your work and just subbed to your channel. I also just got the FS5 recently and I am loving it. I think your channel would be a great resource for me to get the ball rolling with this camera. Did you shoot this footage in RAW 12bit?
amazing work, your lighting is perfect. I just got the fs5mii but haven't had the chance to use the raw feature yet. How would you compare the raw vs the prores quality? is it worth the upgrade to inferno or stick with the ninja flame.
@@LudemanProductions Thankyou ludeman ! and how about the foley recorder like 0:22 ? which recorded that you guys use ? thankyou so appreciate ur answer sir subscribed !
What a beauty! I have a question about Zeapon. I'm thinking about buying it, but a bit worried about 50cm will be not enough to make visible movements. Did you used it only in macro shots?

Achingly beautiful, both the video and the instruments Mr. Josh Rieck creates.
Thanks beh beh! ❤❤❤
A great artisan work, both the music and the guitars...
Well, as always, stunning... The light, style, sound, colors, you're a great source of inspiration! You make me wanna pick a FS5 + Inferno !
Hey thanks!!! I appreciate it. Lit all of it with aputure lights. The fs5/atomos are still a hell of a camera.
Im selling an FS5ii with inferno!! Hit me up.
@@LudemanProductions Great work, great lighting. Did you go with the 120 or the 300?
Lovely lovely lovely
Great short story and beautifully shot!
Thank you so much!
Looks great! I’m flying the Sony FS5 MK2 on a crane 3s with the Atomos shogun 7, it’s a beast!
You just poured immense amount of life into this piece. Love it!
Thank you! It was bliss being able to film with such a master craftsman.
Multiple artists at work here. Nice...
Once again, another great work. What else can I say, continue to delight and inspire us all.

Always love the emotion and the feeling put into these videos. Everything about each shot and the story it tells draws you in. Just wow.
Well said.also very nicely done .good work.i do some luthier work myself and I like your style .

Haha I know right every video is perfect, keep the fire

Second that
Very very nice! Behind the scenes?
Congratulations!!! #frombrazil ;)
What picture profile do you shoot in with a Sony Fs5 that helps with the color grading?
slog2 sgamut3.cine
beautiful!
How did you manage to nail the focus so perfectly? Are these mostly shot in AF?
AMAZING!! Man you are just leveling up in every way. Few quick questions. what was your lens choice when mounted on the Crane 3 lab? Also did you shoot in raw to the atomos recorder?
Ha! Thank you man! I'd say about half my shots were handheld with the canon35 f3m2 IS while the rest was in the Crane 3 with the Rokinon 24mm.
Forgot to mention, I shot this all in standard prores 422.
Ludeman Productions you did an amazing job. Very inspired by your work.
Muito bom!!! Vídeo fantástico!
Hey could you post a video of your rig setup using the FS5+Atomos Shogun+Zhiyun Crane 3?
Any thoughts on the FS5 vs Zcam E2? Will you be moving to exclusive Zcam?
beautiful 👍
What media drives are you using to capture 4k120p Raw?
With all the new camera coming out. You keep me confident that my FS5 Mark II is still a wonderful camera that can produce great images. I’m just doing something wrong lol.
Hell yea man! Dude, the fs5 is still an AMAZING camera! I think the secret with this (and most cameras) is ETTR. If you are filming in slog2 or 3, it's always nice to have LUT on a monitor to hit your exposure.
Ludeman Productions what LUT do you use for exposure?
Oh my gosh!! Your videos are unbelievably good!!! Do you shoot raw for all your wedding videos, and videos like this one?
I love your style. The story that you tell with the camera is just perfect. I'm curious if you are going to pick up the FS7 to utilize the 10bit instead of the 8 on the FS5.

Do you use any gimbals for all your movements with the FS5? Or is it all handheld?
Heyo! It's a bit of a mix between handheld and gimbal work. All my handheld work was shot using the canon35 f2 IS lens.
Very nice! You shot on 1080 S-LOG2?
amazing work, your lighting is perfect. I just got the fs5mii but haven't had the chance to use the raw feature yet. How would you compare the raw vs the prores quality? is it worth the upgrade to inferno or stick with the ninja flame.
this entire production is just lovely, sound, light, color, the edit. amazing stuff. you plan on doing anymore with the ZCam ?
Amazing work! Are you still planning on releasing Panasonic LUTs?
How'd ya trigger your fs5 when on the Crane 3?
What are your preferred settings for low and bright light settings on the fs5?
And in assuming you color grade, any chance you can make a video showing how you do that? 😇
Do you use the fs5 mark ii or the first fs5
helo ludeman , may i know what voice recorded that you use at this scene ?
thankyou means a lot !!
Heya! We used a Heil PR 40 in a booth to do VO.

hello I introduce myself my name is Tom, I have a question. How do you balance the Zhiyun Crane 3 with the FS5 and optics? Do you use counterweight?
Hey man! Really nice work! Do you mind to share that how did you mount the SHOGUN on this setup?
Reallt great video. Did you set up light for every shot or use natural one?
how was your back feeling after doing all these fake slider shot on a gimbal ??? :D great work
Vous avez utilisé 3456 truc j'ai mal au crane !!
