Definitely an improvement, just will need to be maintained to keep things under control, comparison will be much safer for the lady and her children.great video, just keep doing what you do best.be safe.😎😎😎👍👍👍
I've tried to get ivy to grow over here in the USA but it just dies off every winter. I can't believe how invasive it is there and how thick the stalks get!! It literally destroys anything in its path!! Excellent work, fellas!!! 👏👏👏
It may well fall off, but I have a pebble dash wall and it had ivy on when I arrived . We got most of it off as the guys did in this video but I also found that, whilst it often garners a sharp intake of breath, a little bit of glyphosate just sprayed on the remains will ensure it dies and drops off.
Look at the two of you doing something wonderful part 2. Good to see Shane as well. The Aussie for sweet as, is, too easy. Horrible Ivy gone, now uncovering a lovely house. Fantastic.
Great job!!! ❤❤ There is always something satisfying when watching a wall of ivy coming down. I didn't realize how big those roots can get. Will be anxiously waiting for Part 2. Have a great rest of the weekend.❤
Well done. We removed ivy on trees which had been up what looked like 60 years - as thick as my arm in its branches - in credible stuff. I do think on this video the left side of the house has ivy and going into the neighbour's garden to cut it off at the roots even if cannot get up to roof height would help
Happy to see Shane working with you. There is no way someone should be on that ladder! Can not believe they can even sell something like that. 🙈 Ivy can do so much damage to a structure or garden. Best to get rid of it ASAP. That road traffic is crazy, wonder how many wrecks occure on it? Hey how's the garden plot going, and most importantly where's Mac and how's he doing. Dogs make everything so much better. 🐾🐾🥰 Watching from Oregon, USA.
@@chrispedersen6999 The orchard ladders in my area are three-point ground secure. I have never seen a ladder like they had. Another thought I had was Shanes a big guy does he really even use that ladder? Scary! I had a hard time watching it. Had a friend fall off a ladder and he died. 😭 Please... Everyone be careful.
Hey Alex, I've been off RUclips for a while. I come back, and you have around 190,000 subs. Wow, congratulations! Love this series so far. The nightmare ivy 🤬! I must admit, I was surprised to see you standing on Shane's huge sack, ouch! 😂 I've been with you since the early days, and happy to see your great work continues! Wishing you the best from Wisconsin, USA! ❤
It's so satisfying to see all that ivy come away from the wall!! It is a bit like a monster, creeping all over the house, but it has now been felled and the house can breathe again!! Wendy from Avery Hill
That yard must have been a showcase several years ago, boy was I surprised when you broke through the wall of brambles. Very bug job. Auburn, California
That ivy is heinous. I hope it falls off quickly. Do you a power wash sort of thing to clean the dirt off once it falls? It looks s much better and you stopped the ivy from creating damage to the house. Well done you! 😊
Fantastic job, as always! When I was little we lived in a house that had heavily textured stucco walls in the living room. My mom used a small push broom to dust them. I wonder if that would work to clean off textured walls like the kind of the second floor of the house?
For the life of me, I can't begin to understand why anybody would allow any type vegetation to grow on their home. It certainly makes any surface deteriorate and means a lot of replacement work will eventually have to be done to the home after the growth is removed. I was wondering, why are you leaving the three pointed stick looking plant to grow in the front. I would have removed that as well... JMHO Thumbs Up!
A few years ago i quoted for ajob of removing ivy from a house similar to this. I thought about three hours and told her this. By the way, it was pouring down, at the end of a poo day. I turned up a couple of weeks later and started. No problems till i went around the side of the house and it was covered in the stuff. Anyway, on the second day i finished. She did give me more money even though i never asked but was on about £4 an hour. I hate ivy and the trouble it causes.
Ah, not good the ivy made it to the roof. Glad you were able to pull a lot off the front. The fence appears to be a case of plants-from-the-neighbors, which includes loss of space and light. (Looking at the ivy scraps on the upper wall and wondering about your long-handled scraper.) So you are using your hoe as a tool but the render is not suitable.... Good to see the front space of the home recovered. I can't quite decide if the side fence is for a side-yard or the neighbors.
Bon travail . Au debut ça fait joli le lierre qui pousse sur la maison mais avec le temps ça devient tres envahissant . Il faut réaménager son jardin régulièrement pour ne pas etre débordé par la végétation. 👍

Big sack made this old 71 year laugh her socks off , keep it up !! Ooops, no pun intended
I love watching ivy come down. Hate the stuff. Thank you for the great video.
It’s was very satisfying
I liked the closeup’s. It showed how unbelievably thick those ivy branches are. Amazing 👍
I find this so therapeutic , and relaxing , can't watch enough of you and ben from Flawless . Great job both of you . x
That was awesome taking all that ivy down in one swoop! Looks so much better
I always keep a couple of sacks in my trunk - you never know when you're going to need it!

That was so cool when y’all pulled the ivy blankets off the wall. Good job. See you in the next one. ❤

Ivy weed, like morning glory, grows like mad almost anywhere. Proper ivy is finnicky and much harder to grow. Keep tying.
Well done you two. Huge difference already
I like your confidence that the dead ivy will fall off of it’s own accord👍
It may well fall off, but I have a pebble dash wall and it had ivy on when I arrived . Lovely job Alex and Shane. The family is much better off now. So much easier to access the house!

It's an orchard ladder so you can get in close for harvest and pruning on uneven ground 😂

lol you both have big sacks 🤣🤣

Great job guys.
Thank you Shane for your help!

Great video... keep the humor coming. 😉
Great job! Scary ladder 😮
Yes that ladder should be banned or in a circus 🤡
@@acreslawncare the ladder should be for for purpose. Seen it used on uneven ground pruning trees. Single leg allows it to get up close anywhere 😁
Another well done job 👏 👍 ❤😂🎉

Its looking so much better without that horrible ivy on the front of the house, great job lads.
It’s like a monster took over the outside of the house over the years. Ugh. Sending our best from Mound, Minnesota USA ❤

Ah thank you 🙏
Love your humour! Wow, that ivy pull was impressive.
Awesome job doing what you could with what you had.
Grazie per i tuoi video che fanno vedere professionalità ed esperienza.
You should go into her neighbours garden and pull off the ivy that’s growing on the side of her house
Well
Done-
Great video ❤
Your apology is accepted of course Alex and kudos for taking ownership👍
Thanks 🤩
No apology (wink wink) needed. People should lighten up, I think. Great job, guys.
Thank you 🤩
Wow, what a great job. lucky lady.
enjoyed watching. Really liked the attempts at humor. Keep it up!!!! the work i meant lol

It looks like the ivy comes from the neighbours garden. If I were that property’s owner I’d be having a word with them to remove it completely

👏👏👏 Excellent job❤❤
I love plants but one of them that I don't like is ivy. A plant that should be banned for sale, very invasive, damage to walls, etc...
Absolutely 👍
It on fence tops and poo seeds out
Birds often are the calprite,
Absolutely it goes every where.

You guys work well together. Don’t use that ladder again, I want to see you intact. 👍👍😊❤️

Unfortunately not, ivy clings to walls/fences by means of aerial roots that work like suckers, you need something to get behind it to prise it off
Thanks
Great job thanks
Thank you 🙏
Nice one guys ...your doing a great job 👍
Fantastic on to third video. ❤❤. Pauline. Wiltshire
