Long story short, I went through 25B school back in 2016 and I'm still a 25B currently at my 2nd duty station, AIT will not prepare you for when you get to your 1st unit. Be prepared to learn your job on your own, and on top of that living in the field for months at a time. No cap that's really how it be
Currently in AIT and i passed foundations but im currently in network essentials and remembering all the commands by heart is killing me, i have GREAT notes but they want us to take the test without notes so the notes are pointless, it's so many different commands for the router and switches. Like he's telling your guys download packet tracer NOW and watch those youtube videos he's telling you about if you're going to AIT i didn't and i regret it. Im currently on HBL and when i go back i have one week until my test for ccna. Definitely fearing getting recycled but im about to put in overtime over break and try and gain some more muscle memory
@@InfiniteTony Hey what’s up tony, I passed. I graduated in April. I had some great battle buddies and while everybody else was playing around and not focused I had to buckle down. We had a study group and would study after we left the school house and on weekends as well. You literally get out what you put in. Some guys got it easier than others but even some of the guys who struggled hard got it done. For those that are watching this video and reading these comments feeling nervous like I was, again I can’t emphasize enough that you get out what you put in. I had some good times at Gordon….Work first play later.
@@NetAdmin586 I have so many questions to ask u since u did this more recently. 1. Is it true that in order to have more study time u have to phase up quickly? 2. Is there any time to take certification exams while at AIT and if so, which ones are we allowed to test for? 3. What was the hardest class for u in your opinion and which is the easiest?? 4. I read a recent thread about the AIT for 25B and they said that even a guy that eats rocks can pass and another one said that they had a guy be held for a year there so he can pass as he was struggling. Is the AIT for 25B more simpler now and is it difficult to fail?? 4. What's the earliest that we can have someone ship our laptop from home to Fort Eisenhower (Gordon)??

Thanks for these videos. Good presentation! I'll be leaving Feb 12th from LA to Gordon 25b. I'm e-4 transfering from USMC. Hope I dont have to worry about the stupid rules or liberty phases 4, 5, 5+ Can you enlighten me on that, and is it easy to link up w the Ranger recruiters out there? Thanks Young Brotha! Good luck with all you're doing
Thanks for the video, you think studying and learning comp tia A+ in skillport will help me also go trhough ait? I would like study a+ and get certificate in ait even tho i know wont be easy , Thanks
@@WinkTVAmiri im studying for my comp tia certs right now and should have the A+, linux+, net+, and sec+ by the end of the year while finishing my associates this fall and then starting my CCNA january. i want to enlist but not sure if i should finish my bachelors in cybersecurity or not first starting next fall (only two years to complete it) full time or go ahead and enlist active duty summer 2021 and do 25B, 25S, or 25N and do UTSA online part time. what do you think? (full time i pretty much have a full ride)
Yo I'm E 551 right now I just got here can I get your flash cards so I can start studying. I start my first class Thursday are you part of the people about to Graduate this week or next week.
I’m about a semester or two from graduating college & I wanna join & even asked my recruiter about going the commissioned route & he told me I couldn’t do it because it’s too competitive, can you make a video about the difference between directly trying to commission & enlisting then commissioning
Of course a recruiter will tell you not to commission as, recruiters are sergeants, everything is competitive in the army, get a 110 GT and your degree and comission because E4 and below are treated like garbage in the real army. If you're an officer you dont have a whole lot of people telling you what to do
