Dude, you got my sub :3 Great job. I am learning electrical engineering and now starts my third year. We haven not learned about coils at all, and these videos are very helpful and easy for me to understand. Thanks.
Your approach to technical explanations and the visuals you devise are far superior to anything on RUclips !! For example - your explanation and demo of phase shift due to inductance is excellent !! Thanks for all you do !!! {:>)
I just started out with electronics and I'm still taking in all the new things about inductors, capacitors, etc. Your videos help me understand, thanks.
Love these videos! ive seen many many many of your videos and always appreciate videos like these! i finished my first year of Computer engineering and its nice to recap with these videos and be able to make perfect sense of everything!
I was fed up of reading theories but still it was not cleared. You are dope 😍. Thank you. You have a great sense of explanation using practical approach.
Shit, you have to be 100% attentive if you don't want so miss some information because every sentence is important. Best electronic basics series I have seen.
3:17 that l/h pass filter & mosfet is pretty useful, actually. You can somehow use frequency instead of voltage states, like you used in your VU Meter video
I always wanted a Transistor Tester. These devices are magic, a must have for every electrician, cheap, useful, handy. But I live in Iran and we have no way to pay for internet shops. Also none of the international eshops (including Amazon, eBay, etc) ship to Iran. Most of them even block our accounts!
Scott maine frau explain to us hw the different components work in circuits as different function and WHY they act like that. Tell us how to find the right micro controlers for our projects and how to recodnize them. Danke !
Hello GreatScott! First of all, I really like your videos and I've been learning a lot from you! Seeing this two part video about coils and inductors made me think if it is possible to substitute a transformer burnt coil with an external transformer with the same coil voltage. I'm kinda lost in my thoughts about it, I am wondering how the grounding is done, etc. I wish you could help me with this question. Thank you very much!
Tks for very nice explanations! Would it be possible to you to teach how to build a true Choke Input power supply, including the inductor and the bleeder values calculation, as well as critical inductance concept? Thank you very much!
sir.. could you make a vidio how to make a transformer, both step up and step down transformer.. including the computation and the gauge of the wires needed.
MR Great Scott. I have some large transformer cores like the one in the video. if wound as a inductor. could it be used as a inductor for a low frequency boost converter? for like 24 vdc to 170v DC? if so what current could be obtained from such a coil? and frequency range it could be used? would it be a OK for a boost stage for a inverter? great video. can't wait for the next one.
Hello Great Scott. Thanks for your terrific channel. I have a question about this video : what is the reference of the transformer 220V AC - 15V AC ? I need to buy one but I cannot find this kind of transformer on the net...
Thank you for the nice video! How are you measuring current on your scope? Can the scope do that directly or do you need an external device? (Like you pass the current through a resistor and measure the voltage across that?)
Hi Scott, thats so much for you video's Great work! I am very new to electronics and initially prefered to stay away from electronics but I am working with hydrogen from water production. I am wondering if you know how to make a high voltage dc (1800v apr. i saw before), 1 amp apr., and pulse width mudulator for frequency, 42.5 khz , from 12V dc or less. Do you know of any controllers available like this for purchase? Or a diagram to attempt to make one? Thanks Take Care
Hey Great, love your videos, you have taught me so much, so I am going to return the favour. When you say the word iron the r is silent, so it's pronounced virtually the same as ion, or maybe less stress on the O, so maybe more like "eye en". Funny the German word is Eisen so if you took the s sound out it would be eien which would be nearly the same as the English pronunciation.
Hey GreatScott, some idiot are free enegry maker use *isolated wire* wound around a magnet (2 coil) and they claim "this is spec. inductor will collect electric from air" and they also use fullll bridge rectifyer, cap then connect to motor and spin. And motor spin forever!!!! Can you give me some reason its fake please. Im not sure inductor work with isl wire.
why when I open things apart i find that in some corcuits they are pads that they didnt solder on it any thing and they were written on them the names of components
2:26 that wave form is 🔥🔥
Dude, you got my sub :3

JorksX You're welcome ;-)

And all in a non native language.
Imagine paying £9K per year and then end up learning more from RUclips than from your professor.
I hate when i start a playlist and is plays from the newest to oldest video.
just add things backwards
Yeaaaa
good for newbies
Ya, u can rearrange the order
you can make your own playlist, will take you 4 mins

Guten Tag ich wollte Ihnen mitteilen das ich Ihre Videos sehr mag und äußerst hilfreich und lehrreich finde.
Agree completely. I have a transistor tester guy just like you speed and they rule. They have so many features. Also +1 for German quality
Great accelerated 101 to 201 tutorial. It's like a refresher course for me.
I like the way you explain every small points
your channel is frekin awesome !!!!
3:17 that l/h pass filter & mosfet is pretty useful, actually. You can somehow use frequency instead of voltage states, like you used in your VU Meter video
Thanks for explaining, I've found this series really helpful!!
you deserve more subscribers ......... excellent contant
You are awesome.. you've enhanced my understanding to a new level
Great Video, I always get a kick at your presentation skills.
I will see you next time!
Great project great scott.

für mich interessant ist der part, an dem ich kapierte, wie wichtig die frequenz ist.
Do you have very basic videos or is more for advanced electronics. I am really new to all of this but found the video very interesting. Thank you!
I do all kinds of projects and videos. From beginner to advanced.
Scott maine frau explain to us hw the different components work in circuits as different function and WHY they act like that. Tell us how to find the right micro controlers for our projects and how to recodnize them. Danke !
GreatScott! Can you please do a video on relays
I came here for the knowledge, but the accent was a winner :p
Hey, we have the same multimeter, almost. Mine's a UT61E, though.
Oh, you did mention about the field collapsing to push current out of the coil first thing in this one ...

Awesome video as always!
quality informational video :)
Great video. BTW, EBay and Amazon links to the transistor tester appear to be broken.
You didn't upload a vid for sooo long thank god I thought you we're dead
DontGamerME What? It's only been two weeks since my last one.
yeah but i love your videos :D lol
DontGamerME Give the man a break this is not TV
sorry dude also sir Scott I am really sorry
No problem ;-)
Great vid👍
New Sub’r here, great stuff bro
that "transistor" drawer looks great..
Informative and educative..
Yep
For some reason my college taught us about impedance before reactance and I am not sure why.
Awesome work! Keep covering some videos on Basics, and it'll help a lot of students to learn more. Good Luck...
Tks for very nice explanations!

KaienSander10 Good idea ;-) I should have all parts laying around.
Thank you
Why so serious? Just playing, love your vids.
hi great scott . can you do a some applications for joule thiefs? and compare it to a voltage booster
Hey super video
Meine Frage ist ob man mit dem Transistor
Ein Magnet Feld bzw emp jammer bauen kann oder ist es nur zum testen ?!?

Thanks.
I need a machine that can test all the inductor coil . What you suggested for me to buy . ( Not too expensive and not too low price )
I need to buy this!
20$
are you german btw?
Yes
Is here some video about "how to make a contactless LED power transition"? Actually I've waited it in these videos...

I guess I know more than you
you guess you know?.well keep on guessing. its what you know. lol.
can inductors work on dc
i do not know why the led dies at the start of the video?
What the units ( like c=10pF or mV)
Are you left handed
No resistors were abused during the making of this video.
Is it bad that im watching this at 3rd year of electronics engineering studies?
can I get the schematics of the circuit at 3:15? thank you :)
Fantastic ^_^
