First, we are grateful for you staying with us and secondly, also appreciative of this video. We are finishing a new Vintage RV rental currently along with breaking ground on (4) four season cabins. We do have a steep entrance but after watching 1,000's of RV's come in, it works temporarily. If you are a 5th wheel, we have an alternate entrance for you to come in through. It cuts through our first RV area (Partial = no sewer) that you showed at the beginning. Therefore, as we have not had issues with anything but 5th wheels (depends on distance from bed rail to bottom of 5th cap over), we keep it strictly for them to not have a traffic flow issue through this RV area. We do plan on building a new entrance but have an easement with the power company which we are in negotiations with currently. They have dragged it out for two years so about a year behind where we would like to be but it does seem to be coming to a close here soon and we will do a lot of building over the 24 / 25 winter. Once we have that finalized, we will have a "new" masterplan built as they affected our original and start much more construction and expansion. It will include a new entrance, office, food / bar, cabins, safari tents, more tent platforms (we love them too) and more full hookup RV areas. We will build out the current lodge into an event venue and the existing pavilion (behind temporary stage set up) into a multi use pavilion / stage. We love having events with food trucks, local brews, vendors, massage by the minute and great first class music that we try to make enjoyable by most that love the outdoors. We have a great season of events, national and regional music acts and beautiful vibe down in our little oasis in the gorge. We look forward to everyone coming back and sharing in this great community. Thank you for posting such a well done and informative video of our place!

We discovered this place a few years ago after Ross bought the place and before he re-opened it.
He and his crew have done so much work to it that it's remarkable how far it's come in a few short years. It always had the natural beauty of the property but the buildings needed a lot of TLC.
Ross is the perfect host and I was so honored to be there for the grand opening 2 years ago.

Looks like a great campground! We love campgrounds near water. Good water pressure is also important!

We stated there one night last October and loved it! I wish we could have stayed longer. And yes, that turn was something else. We went past and came back.

It was an awesome place and I would have loved to stay longer too. Yes, the turn was kind of scary sitting in the RV. Thanks for watching

Don't think we could make it on that entrance. We would hit the bed of the truck. Looks like a great place, we will have to put it on the list.

@@TheOutpostatTheNewRiverGorge Thanks for the response. We are looking forward to a visit and will keep an eye out for your progress. We are a large 5th wheel … 44’ so we are used to being somewhat restricted to some places.

@@CoddiwompleTravelers I have a 42’ which was actually the one that was on the video towards the end as he walked past the back cabins then crossed the bridge heading towards his site - it say parallel to the creek. I always used the main entrance but I have about 8”s between rail and bottom. If you come, just call prior and our team will tell you how to get in the alternate entrance if after hours and meet you there if during hours. Hope to you make it.
