    The way you handle this is very simple. First you head to your positions for regular classical 1. Then you remember which tile is right. Then do the reverse. So if right tile is correct, then you take left. The same applies up, then you take down. The blue cubes is always reverse and middle cube is always the same regardless.

      Play around blue shapes. Alpha debuff matches with red, Beta debuff matches with Yellow. Playstation symbols above head determine your starting position, then arena flips 180 degrees once cast ends. Bait lasers once arms slams, then dodge shapes.

      It's ok, I'll call it the cockblock mechanic, because it quite literally is, placed almost right before you finish the fight. If your party doesn't wipe to caloric or pangenesis, then you're welcome when it's time for classical 2.

    Will it help if i turn my orientation looking at south while moving instead to know which shapes are flipped?

    • @AlessailaSC
      @AlessailaSC Год назад +2

      no, because the shapes are not flipped. your position is what is flipped

    • @FFXIVSiggy
      @FFXIVSiggy  Год назад +1

      The shapes are always flipped (both laterally and vertically)

    How are you handling baits? I know PF on my DC anyway is doing alpha north and beta south

    • @FFXIVSiggy
      @FFXIVSiggy  Год назад

      In NA pf where I did this, there is no fixed assignment for who baits what. Players just generally go to whichever ray seems closest, and try to adjust for the positions of other players.
      Alpha north beta south of your column works, some people tried that in NA early on, it didn't stick though

      @@ItachiUzumaki-ez4wk Hi, so for finding your flipped position, there are a number of heuristics. You can run through the very center of the arena to the opposite side, or you can use the learning macro provided in the pastebin pastebin.com/gc93tBF . Alternately, you can remember that your spot will be both laterally and vertically inverted. So if your initial spot is in the 2nd column, from the left, for example, your flipped spot will be the 2nd column from the right. If it is the 3rd row from the top, it will be the 3rd row from the bottom. etc.
