I’m optimistic, I mean if this drug at worst makes the scarring invisible that alone would be huge. But if it regenerates donor hair. That’s ENORMOUS and worth me going to great lengths to get it researched.

Good news! Any chance of persuading Dr Zarev to try it? Also, since it obviously works, should further testings focus on how to practically implement it in hair transplant? How to block Verteporfin from light activation? Is that feasible with amount and surface of the drug applied to the whole donor area?

Appreciate the feedback. Part of the reason is we lost the original audio and video. The editing is mostly so that the audio syncing isn’t as obvious and because the footage we have was shaky and only intended for particular angles. Thanks for watching nonetheless.

Why not just do a bigger portion of the scalp and track results? If you take 500 follicles from the left side as a control. And take 500 follicles from the right side with verteporfin applied afterward. Then mark all of the extraction sites on the left and right, you can literally count how many new hairs grow from old extraction sites on the right versus the 0 you would expect on the left. If you got 100 new hairs on the right versus 0 on the left, that would be statistically significant, despite only being one patient.
