I struggled using it when it came for the first time and that’s when the ‘regret of buying it’ started, but now I feel like I just need more practice to get used to it, so that’s why I’m here to see how to use it properly. tysm
I mean, the air doesn't pick up your hair by itself? If not, you should go change it! I changed it on the 2nd day for this reason and as soon as I got the new one, everything was very easy! look at it!

It looks to work on long hair and not so much on shoulder length. I bought mine from the website and spent over $100 on it and I do regret it. For you it seems to work well and thanks for the tutorial you look amazing and I love it for you and those that have long hair

Your hair looks fabulous 😮😍 such a great review! Does your hair have a natural wave pattern? It held up so good for you, but I have BOARD STRAIGHT hair and even hot iron curls won’t really hold so I’m hoping this will work for me as well!
I have wavy hair and my sister has straight hair. When she curls her hair she has to use hair spray and some other products to keep the curls in. Try some curling products.

I got this exact brand a few weeks ago and used it very frequently! At first it worked great but today the blow dryer itself stopped working and made very strange noises. Any idea how to fix it? I’m panicking because I don’t want to just throw it out

when you put the heads on the machine you don't have to press the button. The button is pressed only for the head to come out! I did the exact same thing as you and it broke resulting in it spinning out of control!! Luckily they replaced it for me because I got it on the first day!

I bought this and it arrived this week. So my major problem is that once you are done with one side with the curler, it absolutely stops and you have to let it cool down for about 5 minutes before it will restart. Was that the case with you? Maybe I got a defective one? It also barely grabs the hair, I have to basically wrap each section around it-it will hold it but it won’t wrap.
Mine doesn't stop between sections but i use both the high heat and cool on my hair while styling. I also try to turn it off as I'm going so it doesn't over heat.
I do have the issue of it not wrapping very well. You have to make sure you're hair is mostly dry and try smaller sections. I hold my strands from the middle and wrap starting where I'm holding and drag to the ends. Once it wraps the ends, I move it up toward the roots. hope that helps!

I just want to say i have been using mine for a year and it broke down today. When using heat setting 2 i smell something burning, which is why I've been only using setting 1 for the past 2 weeks. Today the button which holds the barrel in place broke off so it won't hold the barrels in place anymore.
u got lucky on the curler with the vacuum effect working.. other reviews i watched, that didnt work on them

I believe one of the claims of Dyson and part of the reason it's so expensive is that they claim that their product damages the hair less than most other hair tools.... I wonder if it's the same for the dupe.
I definitely feel like it would be way less damage because I don't have to blow dry and use the curling iron. The high heat temperatures is what is so damaging to hair. This blow dryer didn't get very hot compared to others I have and they curls were so amazing. I'm seeing lots less damage in my future! lol
It made my hair super frizzy. And my natural hair is stick straight and fin as baby hair.

These look better than the Dyson curls. Your curls very well to be so “damaged”. You should use those products more often. Your hair looks amazing.

I bought this and can’t get it to suck my hair onto it and wrap around. What am I doing wrong? I actually tried it couldn’t get it to work then gave up.
I ordered this in September and I JUST got it. I tried it out and noticed how the attachment are cheap plastic and really are to attached and detached. I tried the curling wands and it will only grab a really really small piece. The end of the wand where you’re suppose to hold onto gets hot, like really hot. It’ll curt my hair very loosely and will very quickly fall out less than 5 mins later. Wasn’t very pleased. Notice how the bottom layer of her after she was done it was already straight? That’s expected and the rest of your hair will do the same
it needs to be set with a cool setting .. it hasn't got a cool setting :(
Ahhh no no I was doing it wrong! I didn’t divide my hair whatsoever and I was clueless however! I was able to use it on my 6 yr old who’s hair is very docile unlike mine! My hair is thick and straight asf 😢

Yes! My hair was mostly dry a little damp here. If it’s too wet it takes forever though!

Not that there can't be multiple tools that do similar things, and everyone has different preferences. But I don't get the appeal or benefit (for me at least) using that tool or the Dyson for curls. It looks like it takes much longer than just using a large barrel curling iron. Especially if you have to first dry the hair 80% and then take the additional step and time of using the curling attachment. Anyway. Good review!
I honestly felt the same way! Here’s what I’ve decided on in the 4 weeks I’ve been using it… If I want to curl my hair on wash days, I’m essentially doing the same by blow drying first then curling. It actually takes less time to blow dry only 80% then curl. You can totally use this on dry hair (in place of a curling iron) in between hair wash days. Also the lower temperatures are better for the health of your hair. It doesn’t get hot as a curling iron, so there’s another appeal. My FAVORITE part about this tool is the volume it gave me all day long! I do still love my regular ole curling iron if I want a quick touch up or certain style curl!
