Pilot Training Series: Practice RNAV Approach

This week, watch as Will Stubbs and Stuart Craig cover how to use the Garmin GTN 650 and G3X Touch in the Sling TSi to do the practice RNAV 29R Approach into Torrance Airport (KTOA).The team takes off out of Long Beach (KLGB) and gets on with flight following to organize the practice approach. They briefly go over the approach and follow the approach plate and ATC. Please note that there may be some slight differences between a practice RNAV approach and one flown under IFR flight rules. Too many buttons to push, G1000 nxi is better

The G1000 nxi has 32 buttons while the G3X touch has 4 buttons 🤔
