    Hello ASL Heroes!!!
Hey, I could really use your help.
If you’ve enjoyed having access to an expert in ASL you can help me continue my work for you. A small donation from you would instantly make a big difference here at the studio because teachers don’t earn much and I could use some help paying for server and domain hosting for Lifeprint.com.
You can help out a humble (not to mention kind, caring, generous, compassionate, helpful, friendly, fair, and hard-working) ASL teacher -- just go here right now and a few clicks later you too will be a true “ASL Hero!”

    Thanks!
    - Dr. Bill
p.s. Want to have your very own USB drive with four semesters worth of ASL instruction for just $79.95? See "SuperUSB" in the ASLUniversity bookstore at:
    lifeprint.com/bookstore/bookstore.htm
Take care and love to you all.
    :)

      Hello Mama Jama!
As a result of your inquiry I set up a Patreon page at:
      www.patreon.com/ASLU
At this point I have functionally "zero" experience with Patreon.
Feel free to be a hero and become my very first Patreon!

I am so glad you put the "Memory aids" It helps with the signs and also gives time to practice in between the next signs.

The changing underwear slip up reminded me when I first started signing and I was trying to thank one of my coworkers. Instead of thank you, I told him to F.... Off. He looked shocked then I realized what I had one and signed "no no no!" He laughed.
    Funny learning situations!

Hello do you give private lessons?

    • @sign-language
      @sign-language  2 года назад +1

Generally my schedule and project list are such that I'm not available to provide private lessons. Sometimes I accept assistants for video sessions for specific topics based on the assistant's background, proximity, availability schedule, etc.
Are you in the Sacramento area?

Being that there are many signs that change over the period of time, how do they get incorporated to new signs. For example the sign for wash with 2 hands and then the lazy way with 1 hand? Do people just make up new signs and maybe they stick? I might be making it more complicated than t needs to be.
