Haha! 😂 I love that! I’ve been getting that sentiment a lot from people! I’m going to love immersing myself in writing again as I simultaneously shift over to getting DTK into theatres! I’m so lucky to have so many things that I feel like I was born to do, and writing that series is definitely one of them! And right?? Isn’t it so surreal to see the characters animated, hear them, watch them go through the events of the stories? I’m sure you’ve had them in your mind for years, so seeing the way they come across on screen, what’s that like for you? Does it remind you of how you pictured it? Or is it vastly different? Thank you so much!! 🥰❤️🔥❤️🔥 I appreciate that so much, and I love that you took the time to share that! Especially under the video! You are awesome! Yeah, I worked my butt off on that atmosphere! Haha! 🤣 A lot goes into sound mixing, and sometimes it can sound perfect in the mix, and then you hear it on a different device or when you upload it and the platform does something with the different sound channels and it can be really maddening, and especially when you mix for a whole movie like DTK! Haha! I cannot tell you how many times we’d render the whole film and I’d just one little item was off, me being me… it was like, okay, gotta render it all again! Hahah! Those renders would take 24 hours! Luckily this one just took a few hours, but I did have to do it a few times until I felt like all the levels, the dialogue, the music, the atmospheres, were creating that feeling that I wanted to impart on the viewer… it is amazing how much subconscious communicating you can do when you try to communicate with visuals and sounds and the little micro facial expressions of the characters, rather than in words alone. I love the dimensions of creativity it generates and also the dimensions of connections with the audience as well! It’s such a thrill when it finally feels “right,” as this one does! ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥

Thank you, Donna 🥰🥺 I do try… and even though this launch got screwed up by all the delays on youtube’s side today, I remembered (after an hour or two of being frick’n infuriated!) that I actually LOVE impossible fights. Winning them is really fun! 🤩 So now I’m I’ve got a chip on my shoulder and I’m determined to keep pushing this clip out to people because it is F-ing awesome!

I can tell that I’m going to love watching my films with my audience in theatres in person! That would be terrifying to most people, I think, but I just love experiencing it with the people I made it for! What a thrill! Your reaction is exactly what I was aiming for, because I really wanted to show people how it’s possible, if one actually really cares and is determined, to get “takes” of the characters in which they appear to be emoting in a way that really makes you feel for them! And then, before you know it, the story has you! As with any other film, you suddenly melt into that suspension of disbelief and let the story take you on a journey… gotta love the magic of movies! 🍿 ❤️🔥❤️🔥❤️🔥 Don’t you think?
David Simpson, that was awesome! The music was perfection. Their eyes kind of freaked me out at times. The very end brought a tear to my eyes. That was special.

The eyes are uncannily human! They really do make you feel empathy and it makes it easy to let suspension of disbelief take over so you can actually enjoy the story, don’t you think? It’s not long before you forget that you’re watching a story about a hyper real sim that is actually a hyper real sim! 🤯

Haha 🤣 Where we need a futuristic PETA but instead of protecting animals, they protect the “unevolved” humans who’ve been conjured in the imaginations of cognitively enhanced post-humans, their imaginations so advanced that the “characters” they create would seem, from our perspectives, to be conscious! It’s super trippy and now you see why it won that metaphysical fiction award a few years ago… it’s definitely one creepy possible outcome of the future! ❤️🔥 And thank you so much for watching it! Oh cool! Which female? I’m guessing either Kali or Haywire-I had to look up Kerrigan, I can see how it could be either! Haha 😂 And the first thing that came up was Dwight from the Office cosplaying as her and I was shocked until I realized what it was! Haha! I’m really so glad that you enjoyed it though! Ultimately, that’s really the point! Just to make something cool that makes people happy! It’s a heck of a job and I’m insanely lucky 🍀 to have it!
