  • Aidan Charron, Director of End Plastic Initiatives talks to Lem Srolovic, the Bureau Chief for Environmental Protection at the New York State Attorney General’s Office. Srolovic unpacks why they sued Pepsi Cola for polluting the Buffalo River and reveals how the work of activists collecting and brand auditing the trash they collected formed part of the important evidence they needed to try and hold Pepsi to account. Not content with suing the soda giant, his office is now gunning for the world’s biggest producer of beef, JBC USA, and has just filed suit against them for making claims that they will reach net zero GHG emissions by 2040 as greenwashing.
