Brother,, its depend on trial and error. Whatever dimension you are comfortable with,. You can go with that. In 2 videos after this one,, i have told that all dimensioning is based on trial and error..

Thanks for Appreciation. Telecom Towers or Transmission Towers are design using TIA 222 G or H (latest Specifications) which are having different consideration compared to typical steel structure design as per AISC or other codes. Midas Gen is having AMerican, EUro, Chinese codes but for these type of structures TIA 222 G ot H design considerations are not in Midas GEN. Yes Structural Analysis can be done in MIDAS GEN and result forces can be used to design the members using specified equations in TIA 222 G or H using manual calculations or spreadsheets.
