    This is kinda my dream vacuum, but it's a shame that they can't vacuum hardfloors very well.

      I believe they do sell a special brush for solid floors, so you can change it if you have only hard floors mainly.

    Thanks for posting! Please do a long-term follow up review on this as well because there’s already a marked difference in build quality with the new Windsor/Karcher models. I just wanted to confirm that these are Windsor problems and not indicative of the entire model platform across both brands.

    I do like the grey color my dealer chose. At first I thought I wasn't going to like it, but then after using it for a week and putting some automotive ceramic wax on it, it really pops in the sunlight. as far as the boost button goes, I've found it works best on door mats and rubber-backed mats. Other than that, there really isn't a time where I use it.

    Love the graphite version, that's what Sebo calls their grey color:) I'm with you on the boost feature, the red X7 didn't had that option and I wished those were still being sold in the states because that's what I would've bought over the other X7s', I don't see myself paying extra for something I probably wouldn't ever use. Maybe the red X7 might come back one of these days, I don't know. Although the blue X8 doesn't have the boost feature either but I don't personally care about that one as much as the red X7 because of the L shaped nozzle. I hope someday they'd come out with a X7 and/or a X8 that's in a bright spring green color that they once sold on the X4, I really liked that one the best!

      I would love to see more colors of the X7 and SEBO vacuums in general. I spoke to the head of SEBO Germany years ago at the show. Apparently it takes a large amount of money and waiting to bring a new color to the United States. So let's keep our fingers crossed🤞 Thanks for watching!

      It'd also be awesone if Sebo once again did a limited production run of some clear models like Reggie's X4 that he has, I think those are a cool collector's piece to own:)

      One can buy the hood with boost button and fit it on and it will work. Same as the headlight, it will all work if connected as the PCB is identical in all models regardless of boost or headlight or not.

    I would totally own this (I think)... It looks amazing and soo user friendly.... such a shame the brush roll doens't turn off....when you said change bags every month or so I gasped because it would literally take me 8 months for the bag to get to the point it needed changing... because I vacuum so frequently there's never much dirt to clean at one time. I still think the dart or felix would be a better fit for me

    I would get this machine because I know it will last me decades, and it is actually easy to repair and take apart a vacuum like this in case something were to go wrong! However, it will probably be ages before something like that happens!

    I’ve always found these machines to be really interesting in a way that only German engineering can make me feel lol. Outta curiosity how does this compare to say a Miele S7/U1? I’ve never used a X7 but I own both a Jazz and Auto Eco U1 and from what I can tell my assumption would be these machines are fairly tit for tat.

    • @PerformanceReviews
      @PerformanceReviews  Год назад +2

      The S7 probably will go down in history as a legendary upright in terms of the amount of features it had. I would say the SEBO Felix is more comparable. I would put the X7 lower on the list than those two just due to the feature set. But quality is top-notch has always with SEBO.

      @@blakaeg - I like our Meile S7 a lot, but some parts are already tricky to get. I like the bigger bags, two-motor power and HEPA exhaust filter. I don't like how labor intensive it is to repair. SEBO is better in that regard.
      Felix has some + and - things but it looks good for carpeted stairs. Have to wear a backpack to carry a wand and other tools with you.
