We admire him for being brave to showcase his talent in singing , that he can sing all genre of songs and delivered it in his own style. ...Roland's interpretation of I will Always Love you. We love how he can control his raspy voice from low to high and vice versa. He is still lucky. AGT has been a venue for him to be known not only in our country but all over the world. God will bless him more. Who knows he might be invited to sing with his idol Michael Bolton and other artists who have the same voice like him. Please Take good care of your vocal cord Roland . It's God's gift to you so you will be able to change your life, your family and be able to help your community who are less fortunate. Roland is a very good person, very humble. God will bless him more. Sir Joel hire a tutor who can teach him how to answer questions in English that can possibly ask by International reporters. Roland is unique. . . coming from a very humble home, very simple life, and his rise to fame . He delivered it perfectly and with such power and emotion. Every reviewer on RUclips could not believe his voice. Every one of them are amazed. I am sure that his exposure to AGT will result in something special for him. Sometimes the winner has one moment of triumph and you never heard from him again. Sometimes the one who captured the hearts of the listeners are the ones that rise to stardom even though they did not win at the start. We are hoping the latter is what happens to our very own Roland Abante. Will check on his future concerts and record deals. One avid fan here in NC.

In a competition such as this, many varied factors have to align just right. And unfortunately that fair but flawed system often leaves the very best talents behind. It hurts. And a million dollars is nothing to blink at. But he shouldn't be discouraged; he has shown the world that he is great! Head high with satisfaction and pride and gratitude, anticipating more good things from our Great God.
Joel the reason why he didn't make coz they put 3 Pinoys that night, the vote were split. True you right and others too the acoustic version was great in the ears of the learned and trained musicians but to ordinary listener which is the majority viewers it did not settle down to them. For me it was his versality of his voice that counts. With God's help he is called for the wild card, fans love his rendition of "To love Somebody", which garnered millions of viewers years ago maybe it clicks to the liking of voters since he is already popular with the worldwide fans. I think some Filipinos dumped him in favor of the 2 other Filipinos. The proof is that the Ana deGuzman and Shadow Ace are in the top 5 but not him. There are Filipinos who stabbed him in the back. Anyway, just trust the Almighty.
