- Spend 3 days in Mt Fuji (Fujiyoshida)for the weekend. We spent most of it chasing the elusive Mt Fuji. It can be pretty hard to catch Mt Fuji sometimes as it likes to hide behind clouds a lot, but we try anyway. FYI this was filmed in mid November which was a great time to see the Autumn / Fall colours.

my friend and i stayed one full day in Lake Kawaguchi, the shot at 4:26, the way the clouds hug the top of the mountain is so serene. great video, love how chill everything feels especially with the music!

Appreciate it man! I don't always feeling like yapping to the cam so have decided to just add some text in. You just gotta pick your battles. If you try to do it all, something will suffer. Some times I do photo, sometimes video (to the very least pick one to prioritise)
@@Itchban agreed! For me video footage suffered incase I wanted to post on RUclips but instead just took mini clips for short form content for reels and prioritized my photography mainly because I want to create my own photobook out of the trip. Plus it’s nice seeing everyone else’s videos on RUclips about their trip Japan.

Hmm i think it was called blue bird or something. You can see the sign for the place when we're packing the car. Hostel Saruya is also pretty nice and aesthetic. You should probably get a car if you want to cruise around the area tho.

I think I just replied you on my blog haha: These were taken on the 18th Nov 2023. You should keep an eye on the folliage forecasts though, as it is tempremental and changes every season depending on the weather. Hope this helps (and have fun on your trip)!

I did a 4 day roadtrip in Japan in a Kei car, and trust me it's more than enough if you sleep in hotels. You really don't need a big car in Japan unless it's to seat a lot of people.

Great pics. And looks like an amazing journey. Years ago, I was sent to Mexico to shoot a travel story (Travel + Leisure) and part of the shot list was the volcano Popocatépetl. The summit was always covered in clouds. Luckily, one day we got up super early before the air warmed up and did get to shoot the mountain before the clouds rolled in. A lot of time can be spent waiting for nature to smile upon photographers...

This was from last nov haha i was there for like 40 days for that trip. Next vid should be Taiwan (for a week) then bakc to japan for like 3 more weeks haha
