If I were a betting man I'd wager that as Diana gets older she becomes known for her sultry sensual voice. She can sing well in so many genres. She's something else...and realistically, she's just getting started. This is her last year at GITIS (University) and just a few months ago she was a teenager. People tend to forget that so far she's just a student that's been an extrordinary talent as a youngster. I think we will see much bigger things out of Diana as time unfolds. Enjoyed your vid.

Смысл этой песни он оставил за скобками своих комментариев - и правильно сделал. Это позволяет и нам в этот раз сосредоточиться только на звуке. Итак, что он слушал? Он слушал звук: инструменты и голос. Но и кое-что ещё - для этой песни (и для этих стихов) очень существенное - он слушал звук русской речи - и сказал об этом: "русский язык очень красив". Что касается голоса - он всё сказал правильно: одновременно и "глубокий" и "ангельский" - и в новой песне это хорошо можно расслышать. Что касается самой музыки - современному слушателю, хорошо знакомому с такими жанрами, как транс и лаунж - этот звук превосходно ложится на слух, а главное, позволяет слушать себя многократно без малейшего утомления. Но хорошо, что он не забыл и о звучании самого языка этой песни (и стихотворения Цветаевой). Музыка уже изначально содержится в этих стихах, сама фонетика русской речи действует соответствующим образом на слух музыкально восприимчивого человека, заставляя обратить на себя особое внимание. В стихотворении - если взглянуть повнимательнее - одна и та же рифма повторяется четырежды в каждой строфе; все рифмы мужские; большинство рифм точные. Такая сложная звукопись не вполне характерна для Цветаевой; но всё-таки воспринимается довольно естественно теми, кто хорошо знаком с русской поэзией. Русский язык, гибкий, подвижный, богатый, свободный фонетически - это не только позволяет, но и приветствует. В англоязычной или французской поэзии такое представить себе трудновато. И вся эта изначальная цветаевская музыка прекрасно сочетается и гармонизирует в новой песне с её инструментальной частью, но самое важное - с вокальной составляющей песни, заставляя всё это звучать по-новому: одновременно и по-цветаевски, и по-анкудиновски. Брэндон Стоун и Диана Анкудинова расширили пространство для этих прекрасных стихов, вдохнули в них новую жизнь, и пожалуй, заставили многих вспомнить и о Марине Цветаевой, и русском серебряном веке...

Брендон Стоун = Бесарион Шпетишвили по сути НАШ человек, изначально. Безусловно талантливейший композитор, его ещё покойный Задорнов привечал, как неординарного музыканта и автора многих произведений. Ну а тандем с Дианой,+ стихи М.Цветаевой = лучшая троица на нашем небосклоне.
Дорогой друг, то что ты несколько раз подносил кружку ко рту, но так и не попил кофе, это говорит о том, что Диана полностью завладевает твоим сознанием.

Greetings from Scotland! Yes, Diana's deep voice has a unique sound, as another famous singer once said to Diana "A woman is always both Devine and Dark at the same time!" I guess Diana took that in the literal sense because her voice has both of those qualities, and a few more which totally defy identification! 😊 That is part of the mystery and fascination of young Diana when she sings and I love every minute of it!

This song is based on the poems of the poetess Marina Tsvetaeva. The personality is quite contradictory in the minds of Russian people. She absolutely identified genius and villainy as in the work of Mozart and Solieri. and she ended her life by suicide. Her cruelty to her youngest daughter Irina goes beyond human understanding. Marina starved her, and so that the baby could not get to the waste bucket and eat, tied her to the leg of a chair. At the age of 3, her youngest daughter died of starvation.

* The Russian writer Marina Tswetaeva (Tswetaeva means Flower)(* 1892 Moscow - † 1941 in Yelabuga) is one of the most important poets in world literature and was born in Moscow in 1892 into an upper-class, wealthy family.
A carefree youth came to an abrupt end with the death of her mother (1910) and the outbreak of revolution and civil war (1917-1922).
She was unprepared for the world outside. Her assets will be confiscated as “non-work income.”
In 1912 she married Sergei Efron; They had two daughters and later a son. Efron fighted against the Bolschewiki, and Tsvetaeva was separated from him during the Civil War.
Marina Tsvetaeva was a woman with excessive passions, born into a world that had completely lost the measure of humanity and so her life had to end tragically. There are many evil depths in Tsvetaeva's life that stem from her pathological narcissistic personality. They don't really fit into the image of the romantic poet, the sensual lines of her poems. Even her most loyal friends were often deeply shocked by her behavior, and fans of her poetry still are today.
Despite all the adverse living conditions, everything she ever wanted to do was write.
During the period of hunger, she gave her daughters to a children's home out of necessity, She gave her daughters to a children's home. Her second daughter starved to death there.
In her notes in German (wrote since 1913) Marina Tsvetaeva sketches her hard everyday life full of poverty, hunger, deprivation and worries. At the same time, she thinks about writing and how things begin to shine. “I see everything in my own way.”
With every syllable she felt like she was leaping over space and time. Her romantic principles were the dominance of emotion, the dark and the fateful.
With her language experiments she goes further than many other poets of her time. “The thought-dash has an accelerating effect - in a mysterious way.” wrotes Josef Brodsky (1940-1996, Russian-American poet and Nobel Prize winner for literature)
Marina Tsvetaeva was enthusiastic about Germany, but of course during the First World War this was in complete contradiction to the anti-German sentiment in Moscow. However, her love for Germany as her “inner fatherland” (her ideal world) has nothing to do with political Germany. The enthusiasm as the land of Goethe and Kant appears often in her work.
She emigrated to Berlin, Prague and Paris in 1922 and found her missing husband again. Tsvetaeva was shunned by the Russian exile community in Paris. She was no longer published after she declared that Mayakovsky was the poet of the future. They were worlds apart but she recognized his originality, his own tone and his radicalism.
In 1939 Tsvetaeva returned to the Soviet Union. But the return home was full of horror. All doors were closed. The wild, backward-looking poet is seen as an obstacle to building socialism.
Her husband was executed and her oldest surviving daughter was sent to a labor camp. When the German army invaded the USSR, Tsvetaeva and her son were evacuated to Yelabuga. That was one stroke of fate too many. Shortly afterwards, on August 31, 1941, she desperately ended her life and hanged herself. Her grave is still unknown today.
Three years later, her son died as a soldier in 1944.
She left behind an extensive body of poetry, lyric dramas and prose works. (www)

His melodic songs as well as high technique, emotional intensity and honesty of performance, his wonderful voice (3.5 octaves) and charm helped Brandon Stone to become popular in many European countries, America and Commonwealth of Independent States. He sings in Russian, English, German, Spanish, French, Hebrew and Georgian.

In 2005, Igor Krutoy personally asked Stone to compose and produce for the New Wave. He did it from 2005-2010.
Stone has already composed ca. 800 songs and sold around 2,000,000 records, mostly as a composer or lyricist, mainly in the former CIS countries. In Georgia (Europe) he is revered as a singer and artist, as a folk hero.
Stone has received many important national and international awards and prizes. In 2018-2020 he was nominated for the Victoria Prize (Similar to the Grammy. Dimash and Krutoy won the 2019 Victoria Prize).
Since 2019, Brandon Stone has worked extensively with Diana. Diana's first CD of songs composed and produced by Stone, released Dec 2021, was certified Gold in June 2022. (www)

Стихи Цветаевой, она страдала бессонницей, жила в Москве и написала цикл стихов об этом своём ночном образе жизни. Ну а стихи её с двойным и тройным смыслом, потому без самой Цветаевой непоймёшь что она хотела сказать своими стихами. Но она давно покончила собой и потому каждый трактует эти стихи по своему
Обиженная женщина после размолвки с любимым, на нервах, идет прогуляться среди ночи. Не лучшее решение, но она идет, гуляет, любуется пейзажами и знает, что вернется домой, к своему мужчине. Аее любимый знает, что она вернется, но сидит ровно, ждет, переживает за нее, чего она и добивалась
