What is infrared light and how do we use it to study the universe? Infrared radiation, or infrared light, is a type of energy that we humans can't see but can feel as heat. All objects in the universe emit some level of infrared radiation, whether hot or cold, making an infrared telescope like NASA's Spitzer Space Telescope very useful in detecting objects that might seem invisible. just one of the best videos but in 00:10 I had some confusion with numbers in the wavelength scale. I mean how can radio waves be between 1cm & 1m which is used to send long distance messages😂...same for other radiations like microwaves 1mm-1m(actual),etc

Sometimes I can see my phones infrared light flash from the Face ID scanned, and to me it looks like red, with a very slight pink to it.
