so glad you did this video because my father is also a tabla player, he runs his own music academy and his teacher's teacher is ustaad Allah rakha ji , who is Ustad Zakir Hussein's father and teacher so we follow that music legacy in our household as i also learn music from my parents. my father has also met Ustad Zakie Hussein a couple of times and his brother taufiq quereshi ji came to our house, blessed and taught me a little.
I was travelling when I got the notification, and I was immediately looking for a place to stop to see the video. And congratulations on the fist bump with Maestro.
When I was living in the US I used to DJ at clubs, private events etc. I had the opportunity to watch ustad Zakir's performance when growing up as a kid in India. That one performance inspired me to learn tabla at a young age. I gained an understanding of tempo, beats, rhythm etc which is very critical to DJ'ing. So in a way this little DJ stint I had is 100% credited to ustad zakir. The person you have interviewed in extremely revered in India. I hope you both realize what an opportunity you have had.
I like jaby because he always has subtitles when I need them. He's so quick with new things and those trailers rarely have them right away. I haven't watched him for long but I've been watching movies for about the same amount of time. I like this channel because I was there from the beginning of the channel. korbin is looking like that kid who sits in midst of a mature talk b/w two mature adults.
I agree haha! I believe he kinda messed up in a lot of places haha!
actually i disagree. korbin was just trying to not say something which might look disrespectful. but the guy can hold his place in his own way.
That's what I was thinking 😂
No Korbin is great, back off haters .
@@ArjabSenguptaa lol "hate" is strong word. No one's hating
Artists the best people really, so humble and so funny and so knowledgeable, and yet so simple.
Pranam to Zakir Hussain Sahab. 🙏
so glad you did this video because my father is also a tabla player, he runs his own music academy and his teacher's teacher is ustaad Allah rakha ji , who is Ustad Zakir Hussein's father and teacher so we follow that music legacy in our household as i also learn music from my parents. my father has also met Ustad Zakie Hussein a couple of times and his brother taufiq quereshi ji came to our house, blessed and taught me a little.
I was travelling when I got the notification, and I was immediately looking for a place to stop to see the video.
And congratulations on the fist bump with Maestro.
Same here
I am so happy that the first OSR interview is with the maestro and not a bollywood actor.
Where are you now? Still a DJ?
@@WoSarvatraHain now back to India. But yes if I get the chance I'll definitely perform again
Okay..
This is the most unexpected video on RUclips
I JUST DIED WHEN I SAW THE NOTIFICATION. Remember the time when you said get him on the show and laughed, and it's actually happening now!
Sharada G S are you still alive??
Jaby: I interviewed sumit vyas, Vicky kaushal, aditi rao Hydari etc etc
.

OSR: hold my beer!
Jaby is still best

Infinity yup ! Osr is best !!
I like jaby because he always has subtitles when I need them. He's so quick with new things and those trailers rarely have them right away. I haven't watched him for long but I've been watching movies for about the same amount of time. I like this channel because I was there from the beginning of the channel. Its interesting seeing them repeat my journey
That's a huge deal interviewing The Maestro himself! Guys you are so lucky and so soon you got to meet him ...just some weeks back you seen his first video! Such a humble sweet interview!
"All the practice is to establish a relationship with the instrument one plays," beautiful words. Great !!
