It would be nice to have in camera downscale from 6k full frame to 4k/2.5k/fhd full frame. And prores or h264/265 high q. To shoot a lot of weddings and save storage.
Hey Great VIdeo...just one stuff more I would like to have Native Panasonic L mount L lens compatible with BMFF 6K because till now native Lmount lens got wanky MF because it is fly by wire wich is great and bad...with S5 org I can choose the angle of rotation to focus and it feels almost like a good Cine lens (specially the primes) and it is very precise unflorotunatly it is not working with the new L mount alliance member (but maybe it was done in a frimware update...) for me I have 5 L mount lens native from pana and it is not compatible wich is a shame imho...
Thank you for the comment. However I do disagree with your assessment based on history and other reason. Blackmagic has ProRes on other pocket line (which sit below this one) so I don’t believe it’s a stretch. They added different recording options and frame rate options for their pocket line of cameras (again they sit below) most notably, the pocket 4K got in a firmware update that added newer anamorphic options as well as a 3K recording option. They added exposure tools like the highlight traffic lights (they were known only to be on RED cameras before blackmagic added them in) to all their cameras regardless of which line. And given they already have false color on this camera, it’s not a stretch to add EL Zone (if they can get access to the license) And the ability to disable proxies and power delivery over Type-c (if possible) is just a Simple quality of life features that has nothing to do with the tier of cameras we’re using. So I’m sorry but I don’t believe anything I’m asking for is “flagship camera options”.

Wireless 1080p transmission to next-gen ATEM devices over wifi. Super low frame rates so we can do super 8mm or 16mm emulations. SDI port.
SDI would be awesome but that would have to be in a future camera. Maybe?

Your asking for flagship camera options on there lower tier camera. It’s a reason why this camera is $2500.
