Quick Tips:
1. Tanner: When you see "Tanner" in the cameras (the guy with white clothes) you need to flash him DIRECTLY in his face when he gets close to the camera. (Shining light on him from his left or right doesn't work, so switch cams to the direction he is running in and flash.) It makes him go away, but you might trip the breaker if you have the light turned on fro too long. (The breaker is in the file room closet). If he appears behind a wall and disappears (the corridor) DO NOT open the door next to the main door. (Keep it open at the start and if it's closed at some point Tanner's in there. So wait 40-45 seconds, and you should be good.)
2. The Kidnapper (WTTG Kidnapper): He'll try to lockpick (like Lucas from WTTG2) your windows if it's dark in a certain room (Because he think nobody's in the room) So you need to check the rooms quite often. (Right Click to lock a window) If he get's in he'll randomly appear and kidnap you.

*CORY SOME TIPS*
Leave the door behind you open. Leprechaun will hide in there and you'll know if the door is closed or by seeing him peeking at you from the hallway. If that happens, hide in the back room for about a minute(I don't remember if the lights should be off or not). DO NOT EVER CHECK THAT DOOR. INSTANT DEATH! You can not try to finish your work if you know he's there. He will kill you in your sleep. If Leprechaun is on the camera, make sure you move the camera to him.
Check each room to see if the lights are off. Lock the windows. If lights are on, you're fine. Cueball hasn't done anything to them.
If you hear crickets, the window is open.
*YOU NEED TO CHECK THE ROOMS FOR LIGHTS OFF AS OFTEN AS YOU CHECK THE CAMERAS. EVERY 30 SECS TO A MIN. MAYBE LESS* You have to or else cueball will also kill you in your sleep
Edit: You can't hide from Tanner, but someone mentioned you can hide from cueball when he gets in!

This game brings out my worst fear, someone in your house you don't know. I don't know if that sounds strange, but it's terrifying to me. Almost all horror games now, have some creatures, or aliens, which can be creepy. But I think that just human beings are scary enough because their real, and this is a situation that could happen irl.

Here's some tips that can help you Cory:
The Kidnapper: To avoid him is very easy and simple. All you have to do is make sure EVERY window is locked, do not miss a single one. Another thing is to watch the lights. The Kidnapper can lock pick his way into your house through a window in a room if the room is dark. So once in a while make sure to check that every room has their lights on and make sure those windows are locked. Oh and before you go to bed make sure all the windows are locked once again and make sure that the lights are on. I think since you missed a room with their lights off that's why you were attacked after your shift ended. That's the way to counter him.
Tanner: Tanner can be spotted on the cameras outside. In order to counter Tanner, you have to spot him on the cameras outside and flash the light at him. Just spam click the light button and he will turn around and go away. Another thing always keep that closet behind your desk open. In this game you can't hide from the killers you can only counter them. If Tanner gets in your house and you see him peeking around the corner after you turn the lights back on, be cautious. He will be in that closet, and seeing it closed after you see Tanner means he's in there. All you have to do is walk back to your desk and do NOT open that closet. Opening the closet will result in an immediate death from Tanner but if you just carry on with your shift he won't attack you. So watch the cameras very so often and if you see Tanner around the corner, don't panic just carry on with your shift and don't open the closet. Oh and I’m not too sure why this happens, but Tanner can kill you after you go to bed. My guess is to why this happens is that if you go to bed but at the same time he gets in, he can kill you. Or if he’s in the closet, there’s a 1 in a 100 chance of it happening. Not too sure but just be aware of this.
I think you can do it Cory, just follow the tips that I and others have given you. You can do this!
He WILL attack you if you go to sleep without opening the closet. You think he has courtesy? “Oh, they’re sleeping. I should let them get some rest.” *leaves* he will catch you sleeping. Literally.

Some Tips to counter enemies (I know someone else said it but saying just to say it no need to like)
Doctor: Don’t waste your time checking the windows unless the lights are turned off in that area. If you keep checking every window, you leave yourself vulnerable to the doctor as you need to always check the cameras for he comes. You should always check your camera from time to time at a reasonable interval as you read your reports. Use your sense of hearing to listen for noises and remembered flash the lights when you spot him outside
Steve Austin: ALWAYS lock all the windows at the start of a night, and don’t keep checking for every window UNLESS YOU HEAR THE SOUND OF CRICKETS OR ANYTHING. That means your window is unlocked/opened. Always take a look at the windows in a room where the lights turned off. That’s where most likely the windows are open
General tips
-always use your flashlight when the lights are off, it’s pretty important so you know which windowed are unlocked
-set yourself a timer to check for cameras. Checking ever 30 seconds or minute and cut that time down if On later nights
-when In doubt, open your closets. It helps you hide from Steve Austin giving you a stunner when your lights are closed, it’s also great so you know where the killers are possibly hiding in because you can tell if the doors closed
-never underestimate the sound signals the game gives you if you heat footsteps or a car pass by,always take a look at your cameras, then dismount from the PC to take a look and see if any lights are shut off

LIKE THIS SO CORY CAN SEE!!! Ok so here is some tips. 1. The guys with brown hair and the doctors outfit is named tanner. U basically have to check the cams constantly to make sure he isn’t try to run into the house. You just need to flash ur light at him! He also likes to hide in closets so keep all of them open. If u see him at the end of ur hallway and disappear, he is in the closet in the living room. Don’t open it!!! Just continue with the game and he will go away! If u know he is in, get off the monitor and DONT go into the hallway that will lead to ur death. 2. The kidnapper, you know to keep ur lights on and windows shut already. Another thing u have to do is check all the rooms to make sure the lights aren’t off. If they are off, turn them on and make sure all windows in that room are locked and closed. If one is open he most likely already got in. 3. If a character is in but u finish all ur tasks u will immediately get killed while u are in your bed!! If u see these tips I hope they help u! Good luck!!

3 Tips
1- When you start the game keep the closet door open by the computer. He will hide in there when he gets inside.
2- Always check the camera when you finish a report
3- When you see the guy run past the second camera. He is 99% of the time inside your house

Hey Cory. A few hints:
1.The Russian gets in whenever you leave any of the lights off for a while regardless of whether or not you have the windows locked, so keep checking all the lights .
2. When the Scientist jumps up in front of the camera, you are ok. That jumpscare is supposed to trick you into thinking he is inside the house, you ARE in trouble if you see him either running towards the camera through the front or side gate.
3. When the Scientist gets into the house, he tends to hide in the closet. The best option there is to start by leaving the closet door open all the time. If he does get into the closet, go into the room with the router and wait there for a few seconds. Then leave the router cupboard and open the closet, if he hasn't left by the time you come out of the cupboard. Then that's a glitch.

Cory I have some tips 1. Power is a big part of the game, if the lights aren’t on people will pick the locks to get in the room they won’t pick locks in a room with lights on because they might get caught 2. Middle mouse button will open and close curtains on windows 3. The Russian dude kidnaps you because a room has a light off when you go to bed so he gets in while your sleeping 4. The dr. when in the house will peek at you from the living room while your in the hallway if you see him he should hide in the closet so keep your closet open so you know if he is in there, if so your fate it sealed and you might just want to knock on the closet door...

Tips for Cory: if the light is off in the room, that’s when you need to check the windows. Otherwise you can just leave the room.
If you see the guy in the end of the hallway when he is hiding in the corner, don’t open the closet and hide behind the couch for the rest of the day and go back to the rooms to check the lights. Also don’t go back the computer or else you’re dead.

Tips for Tanner (the killer) -
- You have to check the cameras about every 30 seconds.. for example
1. If you're searching a suspects name on the computer, straight after that..check the cameras
2. If you're hacking into the suspects phone, straight after that.. check the cameras
You get the point..
- When you're on the cameras DO NOT flash your light straight away, it will turn your power off if you have the camera light on for too long..
- Only turn the camera light on if you see any movement
- If you see Tanner (the killer) peaking around the corner then you can either
1. Go to the internet router room in the back (close the door) wait for 30 seconds and after the 30 seconds are up then Tanner (the killer) should be gone? (not too positive)
2. You can stand by the door and just wait until the night ends.
DO NOT go on the computer (very risky)
(READ THIS)
- also.. a thought just crossed my mind that when you see Tanner (the killer) peaking around the corner and you go into the internet router room.. maybe you stay in there until you hear a THUD because that could be Tanner closing the front door and leaving? The game is made by the same developer who made 'Welcome to the game' for example.. you knew the kidnapper has gone as soon as you stopped hearing his footsteps,
Maybe that's the same with Tanner, maybe you need to wait for something..
(also not sure about that, it's just a thought)
Tips for the bald guy (kidnapper) -
- Check every room to see if the lights have turned off, if they have then take out your flashlight and turn the lights back on, after that check the windows to see if they are unlocked (only check the windows if the lights have been turned off)
- Also.. if the lights have been turned off then there is a high possibility that he might be looking in the window, if you see him through the window then shine your flashlight on him and that should scare him off.
(always listen out for any kind of sound and cars going by)
