If you want a good laugh at a horror game, then I recommend watching playthrough of a game called "The Typical Nightmare". I swear to Christ this game is like "The Room" of horror games.
Every now and again, I come back to enjoy this masterpiece of a gameplay. Game so bad it was good. And reminiscing on when the man-baby appearing in the door when I first watched this gave me the greatest jumpscare I've likely ever experienced.

This game is exactly what it's like when you don't get along with your family. Doing mundane tasks like trying to make something to eat (especially if you have to use loud appliances) becomes like a horror game. You don't want to go out of your room for fear of who you might see. Every journey outside your room becomes a game of hide and seek culminating in a mad dash back to your room. I'm sure it wasn't intentional but maybe there's some artistic interpretation to be gleaned there.

This game is actually pretty good if you think about how big of a twist it had. He was playing as the dark side for a lot of the game. I forgot to add this too, but when the bother shows up he says, “you don’t look so good” and we know how the dark sides look. They look extremely tired and beat up.

When Cory uploaded this video I just got done with senior pictures up in the Colorado mountains. It was lots of fun and as the sun began to set, my phone buzzed with, what I think, is one of Cory's funniest videos to date It was a very, very good day.
Imagine hiding in trash cans and lockers in your own house, and even being locked out of rooms, like you don’t own the place. Imagine if someone broke into your house and just started walking around like they’ve lived there their whole life. Just leave, just go, the front door is calling your name!
Fun fact: Cory’s fonts in his edits were the same ones he used 7 years ago, and all the music that he uses is the same too, but it keeps adding. That might be why Cory’s videos don’t age poorly. There’s little key parts of the energy from the edits that evolve with time.
The scariest part about this game is this dude walking around the house, drinking orange juice and picking up random trash sacks he himself scattered while being chased by aberrations instead of running away. And his brother just standing in his room complaining about the router.

Doing mundane tasks like trying to make something to eat (especially if you have to use loud appliances) becomes like a horror game. You don't want to go out of your room for fear of who you might see. Every journey outside your room becomes a game of hide and seek culminating in a mad dash back to your room.
