- SHEELA
do you feel like you’re rolling down a mountain even when your body’s not in motion
& the love you’re looking for is haunted
& your thoughts are thicker than chocolate
will you be my sheela after dark will you be my sheela after dark it’s not about control
it’s all about control
it’s not about control
it’s trying to find an edge
woah oh woah sheela la la la la woe oh woe sheela sheela oh woah oh woah sheela la la la la woe oh woe sheela
what to do when your heart is just an echo bouncing off
the walls of box canyons beat your chest
it’s hollow like an oil drum & your passion
for feeling’s out of fashion
will you be my sheela after dark will you be my sheela after dark it’s not about control
it’s all about control
it’s not about control
it’s trying to find an edge
will you be my sheela after dark will you be my sheela after dark will you be my sheela after dark

We think this album is our best yet but don’t take our word for it!
"Man Man’s ‘Dream Hunting in the Valley of the In-Between’ Is Haunted, Haunting Pop Absurdism. Ryan Kattner’s first album in seven years fronting this mutable project is his best to date. Four Stars!" - Rolling Stone
"In times as chaotic as these, Man Man provides a restless soundtrack to match." - Exclaim!
“Revives the band’s wry sense of the grotesque, juxtaposed with joyfully unhinged and happily unpredictable music. Dream Hunting is full of other fun musical allusions - to the cartoon soundtracks of Carl Stallings, to Caribbean carnival music, to David Bowie’s “Let’s Dance” - and the melodies are more accessible and the hooks more overt than in the past. Lyrically, the songs are bleak, full of breakups and meltdowns, broken dreams and maladies. The contrast is cathartic, and Man Man’s return is a treat.”
-Philadelphia Inquirer
“The main impression that emerges from listening to Dream Hunting, it's a wonderful jubilation, which sometimes touches pure wonder in front of songs as immediately catchy (because how to resist a Future Peg as playful?) as they are original. Above all, do not deny yourself such pleasure! Such a dream hunt, even in a hypothetical valley, there are not many artists who will be able to offer it to you. Four Stars.” - Benzine Mag
"While Man Man has always been a joyous music project, their return album Dream Hunting in the Valley of the In-Between is a magical ride."

"Dream Hunting in the Valley of the In-Between arrives at the perfect time. With so many things disappearing from our lives, finally, finally, a righteous band, one I've been waiting for new music from since 2013, reemerges and comes up clutch." - Cannapages
"Man Man's first album in seven years, Dream Hunting in the Valley of the In-Between is a kaleidoscopic display of alt-pop songwriting that effortlessly traverses many diverse styles." - The Student Playlist
“Man Man's seventh album is definitely 'bonk' for those who love theatrical, quirky and extremely catchy music. Add to that the pristine creativity and positive energy and you know that you have gold in your hands.” - Dansende Beren
“This new Man Man album will undoubtedly be their most astonishing and daring album of his discography as he shows us so many colors.” - Les Oreiles Curieuses
“In sum, Man Man has released something seminal...something to drop the needle on if in need of some droll humor, some catchy, weird melodies, some ambiguity and maybe some Monday-morning-mania. Even if you don’t know what you’re in the mood for, this has everything and more.” - Mxdwn
“It's certainly clear that a lot of hard work and true love for the craft went into creating this album, and Man Man should unquestionably be proud of what they've accomplished with Dream Hunting in the Valley of the In-Between; its songs are full of charm, wit and heart, and the album as a whole is a thrilling listen from pillar to post. Suffice to say, it was worth the wait. 9/10.” - Sound Bites

Oh man man literally no band like you AND the world would be incomplete without your music
Okay i love how you did the echo-y fading effect at 1:26 but literally just jumping as you yelled. got a good chuckle out of me and a funny way to recreate that effect
This is why I love this band, you always know how to put on a show with the music
The guy on the mid right is literally just me while listening to the song
😐👊

This is great! Cheers from Italy!
I love it
Awesome
You guys are sooooo cool! I love this!
What's up Stard!!!
How are you guys performing together without the latency throwing everyone’s timing off?
They probably recorded everything separate and edited together
they probably were all muted except for the singer/pianist so they all followed him
My favourite part was when giant Benedict Arnold destroyed a giant Alien Hotdog with its mustard eyebeams.
I've been meaning to ask, and this reminded me; was Charlyne similarly about Charlyne Yi? I know she appeared in a music video for you. Its absolutely one of my favorite songs of yours between Man Man and Mister Heavenly, btw.
Nope! Only the spelling is a reference/wink because Honus & Charlyne were friends and she appeared in the Rabbit Habits music video with Fred Armisen & Martin Starr.
@@ManMan_BandBand thanks for the correspondence! Cant wait to receive my copy of the record
Loved it! Side note: are the lyrics to all the new songs somewhere?
On the physical release of the album!
