The SU 35 has a radar range of 30 miles vs the F-35's 186 miles. Who do you think is going to evade first then lock on and fire its missile on the enemy first? The F-35 of course.
It will be interesting to see how the F-35 performs in a dogfight scenario against the Typhoon, and if the results would be classified ? It may not be billed as a dogfighter, but you never know when it may be called in to do that role. Also not as stealthy as claimed. Oh well, only time will tell. Isreal flew over hezbulla Lebonon into syria passed Russia and Syrian defenses and anhialated Irans bases with it so that was a awesome first live combat run.
