Yes and no. For Rex, there is Nia(blade) and you can use Amethyst chip. Also Urelite chip for Roc. Pentagon chip for Pyra, Mythra and Poppi QTPi. So If you are opening cores on Rex then you can get a lot of luck easily. You can't open cores on Tora so he is out of the question.(Sorry it took so long to reply. I kept getting an error message when trying to reply in chrome. Won't let me reply there.) Edit: One thing to remember is you are always trying to get the common blades with high luck modifiers on them AND that can equip a +50 luck chip in order to max out your luck to 999. I haven't tried on Rex but I doubt adding +50 luck to Nia, Roc and Pyra/Mythra will get you anywhere near 999 luck. So they really are useless but still, you can technically give them +50 luck chips if you have some reason.

To add to this. I managed to figure out where Magnet Chips are dropped quickly after reading which Titan it is from. It's on the Empire of Mor Ardain Titan and you can farm it from the boss in the Old Industrial place. The lizard/reptile boss. It's very easy to find. I don't have a Gamefaq account so people you gotta spread this around for me.
Okay you guys to find the Comet choker it’s dropped by a unique enemy in the Land of Morytha named Soul-Eater Stanley. Just go to the Fallen Skyscraper and head to the Collapsed roadway there will be a opening covered in rubble from there you should see him. Hope this helps !

If you have the dogs, you can use The Ureilite Chip. It has a 50 Luck but i don't know where i found it..... I only have one If someone knows, please write back

Because he has an amethyst chip on all of 3 of his currently equipped blades on Rex, and so, thus, the 32% bonus from the comet choker is added AFTER the 3 +50 luck bonuses from each blades' core chip, effectively increasing those boosts of +50 luck to even more than that.

Wait, but how do you know if you have a blade with a luck modification? Or at least how do you pull a luck modification blade? Cause that kinda put me in a stuck situation to how to really get one.
You don't know how to check a blades' stat mod? Just go to a blade's menu, (where you can choose to look at and modify core chips, unlock nodes on their affinity charts, and equip them with aux cores) and press "R". In terms of how to get a blade with a luck modifier in the first place, you just have to get lucky, for the most part. But having more luck with get you better common blades, and this means higher stat mods, so even before you get totally optimized for maximum luck with 3 common blades with the highest possible luck modifiers and hopefully the max possible luck overall on whichever driver, (999, i believe?) you should always try and make sure that your luck is as high as possible before pulling any cores.
Sorry for the 4+ year late reply, but I would HIGHLY recommend watching Enel's basic/general combat guide for XC2 if you haven't already, but i can also tell you some things right here. First off, HP is of course important, but you don't ever need to increase it with an accessory or the like, since drivers already have enough HP most of the time, and the best tanks in the game are evasion tanks, which focus on not getting hit AT ALL, so HP matters even less to them. Additionally, some blades have modifiers that will increase HP for you, without you even needing to equip anything to boost it yourself, and having just ONE of these blades can easily get you capped out on max HP on a driver, at lvl 99. Lastly, critical healing medals (the strongest being the avant-garde medal) are incredibly strong for most blades and setups, and thus as long as your crit rate is high enough on your blade(s) and you don't get one-shot, you should pretty much always be fine. Thus, for all these reasons, HP is an important stat, and you usually want to remain as healthy as possible during combat, but it's almost never worth manually boosting your own HP because of how the game works, as well as other options such as critical healing. Next are the strength and ether stats, and whilst they are not entirely useless, they are also HEAVILY outclassed by another stat, and not the main and most important determining factor for how much damage a blade will do. What is that stat? Auto-attack, of course! In-case you didn't know, the auto-attack stat is the basis for all of a blades' damage, and is much more important that the strength and ether stats. This makes something like a weapon attachment that increases the auto attack stat of a weapon FAR better than a different accessory that increases strength or ether instead, especially with some weapons that have a mix of physical & ether arts on different drivers, and also with some certain blades, who have the same thing going on but with their specials, instead. Now, strength and ether are still useful, especially if you're using a weapon with ONLY physical or ether arts respectively, (and a blade that works the same way, too) and thus if you are primarily controlling a single blade on your player controlled character, you should equip strength or ether boosting common blades as stat-sticks for whatever blade you're primarily using. So, to sum all of this up, boosting strength and ether WILL increase your damage by a small amount, but not by NEARLY as much as increasing your auto-attack stat would. Dexterity is next, and whilst important, is never really something you have to worry about increasing directly. This is because there are far better options to increase your attack accuracy, whether it's with night vision or sunlight eye aux cores, or a blades' skill such as Mythra's foresight or Shulk's monado speed. These effects all increase your direct attack accuracy, which effectively multiplies your dexterity stat as well as say, carbon gloves, but by a much higher percentage. Thus, all in all, whilst accuracy is an important stat, ESPECIALLY against higher level enemies, you shouldn't be increasing it with accessories, or even blade stat mods, as only aux cores or foresight/monado speed are almost always enough. Next is agility, which, on certain builds with certain blades, is easily the most important driver stat, only being beaten out by the blades' auto-attack stat in importance. Just like with dexterity, there are better ways to boost your agility than with accessories, such as with the aforementioned foresight & monado speed, but this time, running common blades with stat mods for agility are VERY much optimal, (most optimal when the common blades with agility stat mods are katanas, as they get an extra boost of +50 agility when using the amethyst chip which is obviously super useful, as well as Pyra, who can give you even more agility if you're planning to use Mythra for an evasion-focused build, since you won't ever be swapping to Pyra in that case, (because of foresight) and thus the extra bit of luck from using the amethyst chip on Pyra is useful) as well as using agility increasing accessories, as you will want your agility/evasion to be as high as possible, giving only a ~3% chance for enemies to hit you, (since ~97% is the maximum evasion rate possible, i guess as a balancing factor?) (That hardly balances anything, as a ~97% chance to evade attacks is insanely overpowered already) which is, as i just stated, incredibly strong. So, to sum this agility section up, agility is a VERY important and INCREDIBLY strong stat for evasion tanks, but other then with them, you shouldn't have to worry about agility at all, as critical healing will usually MORE than suffice. And lastly, luck. I don't really think i need to go very in-depth on luck right here, given what you probably already know, partially because of this video, so i won't really discuss luck here. If you have any questions about it though, feel free to ask me, however! Edit: forgot to go more in depth about auto-attack in it's own section, but i already explained mostly all of the basics surrounding it in the strength & ether stat sections, so i won't be going into depth about the auto-attack stat here, either. I got Zeke to 999 luck with ywo luck accessories, bringing him to lv99 and three blades with Luck Boost and chips that increase luck (I think both knuckle claws and spheres get a luck increase from magnet chips)

Why would you ever summon on REX? HE CAN USE EVERY BLADE. This plus the fact that he cant unequip mythra/pyra means he get the least luck and he is the only driver that can use every blade regardless who they are bound to meaning you should never summon on him.

And if so, you need to go to mor ardain, to the part where all the high level (around 80) monsters are near the old factory and walk towards the bridge to the port, or if you went from the port after the bridge immediately left. If you follow the edge there you will find a salvaging spot where you can encounter a special monster which will have kassandras core crystal. Defeat him and a small cutscene will play and you'll get the "Lucky core crystal"
I have the same setup with bitball blades having plus 50 luck and both pyra and mythra having plus 50 livk and i only got 809 luck. I have the legendary comet choker and legendary gold gear choker too

+Zeyu Liu Well the the higher your character level the higher your luck can go. Luck only helps when you are barely starting to open up cores for rare blades. The more blades you have the harder it is to get more. So when you're down to last 2 or 3 rare blades that you need, it's no longer about the Luck stat. All RNG at that point :/
the avaragegamer I know and it sucks, in fact I'm not even that convinced that it makes that much of a diffence early on as well, I mean I'm only 5 blades short and I got most of them out of common core crystals with a luck stat of 300 or less for each character, and I didn't even used that many core crystals, the last one (and harder to get so far) was perun and I used 50 cores to get her, after that, all of the sudden I've wasted 100+ core crystals so far and nothing, monolith or nintendo should really patch this, it's extremely unfair specially when you can clearly see the shadows of the blades flash trough while bonding, I've been hunting down ursula since the begging and so far I've seen only her shadow more than a 100 times.
+Omar Reyes I don't see why people want them to patch the chances of getting them. I mean if you are to get them easily then what's the point of them being a "Rare Blade". They might as well just make them common blades. Might as well get rid of Rare Cores and Legendary Cores as well. Grinding for them is what makes it so satisfying when you actually get them. At least for me it was. This is a Grindy game so it's no problem for me to grind for the blades, otherwise wouldn't have 280 hours into the game. I have not yet wished they would patch the chances to summon them. Sure it can be frustrating and tedious, but it's worth it in the end. Again, This is just how I feel.
all of that would be great if it weren't for the fact every blade has its own story arc, this are not just rare Items they're hidden characters, and this is not grinding, this is pure luck, random, grinding is something you should do bacause you want to, not something necessary to see the whole story of the game, even if they are side stories. if legendary core crystals don't guarantee a rare blade, what's the point of making them so difficult to find, hell you said it yourself what's the point of common, rare and legendary, they might as well just be core crystals. Pure luck is not satisfactory, collecting special parts, raising level, discovering areas to unlock special items/weapons/characters (you know the sfuff you do for vess, praxis, theory, etc.) now that is satisfaction, your blades are a testament that you honed skills, explored the game and got a reward for it, as it is now, all you can prove if you have all blades is that you played a lot, there are other things to reach 280 hour of the game, and more fun, like trying to beat your highest chain attack combo. again with the satisfaction, you have any idea how frustrating it is to see every single video they actually use Ursula as the image to show the rare blades, I've been chasing her since the beggining and then I hear someone got her on the very first core crystal. lastly this is not grind, you said it yourself this is random, you want to see a game that uses chances on a fair ammount and can actually have you grind, try pokemon and the shinny pokemon, at first it seems they are random, but there are diferent factors you can use to guarantee you will get one with high stats combining said elements takes time and grinding. lastly I'm not asking to make the common core crystals spew rare blades in the first attempt, but at least raise the chances a bit, or like pokemon have a combination of elements that can guarantee the 5 hour hunt for a luck raising item and weapon chip and legendary crystal wasn't for nothing.
Legendary core crystals aren't even worth the farm b/c you can get every rare blade from rare cores alone and they are much easier to farm. A Gacha system isn't suppose to give us what we want that's the purpose of the RNG. Luckily for us it's not behind a paywall like mobile games where you actually have to pay real money into the RNG roll Fate/GO for example. I get at least 2 rare blades per 99 rare core farm without boosters. Luck is another RNG value in stat and tonight it confirmed it to me. My Rex is sitting 806 Luck and somehow summons Vale out of his ass with only 2 rare cores left lol.

Gold gear choker is not that great i have a couple of bunit chokers that are on par with it next that comet choker probably came from a merc mission like the Goddess choker does
+afromarco005 It gives you a higher chance at summoning rare blades. Although it's more helpful when you don't have any rare blades at all. The more rare blades you have the harder it is to get more. After that, RNG is what determines if you get a rare blade or not.

You can't, that's why you need 1 accessoire that increases luck by a specific number and another that increases luck by percentage.

Why would you ever summon on REX? HE CAN USE EVERY BLADE. This plus the fact that he cant unequip mythra/pyra means he get the least luck and he is the only driver that can use every blade regardless who they are bound to meaning you should never summon on him.
You do realize you can just use an overdrive protocol right?
@@jawlinekun4723I don't think he did plus he didn't realize that Rex can use every blade starting from chapter 8 and if you start new game plus or new game in general you lose that ability so it's useless

And if so, you need to go to mor ardain, to the part where all the high level (around 80) monsters are near the old factory and walk towards the bridge to the port, or if you went from the port after the bridge immediately left. If you follow the edge there you will find a salvaging spot where you can encounter a special monster which will have kassandras core crystal. Defeat him and a small cutscene will play and you'll get the "Lucky core crystal"

I have the same setup with bitball blades having plus 50 luck and both pyra and mythra having plus 50 livk and i only got 809 luck. I have the legendary comet choker and legendary gold gear choker too

+Zeyu Liu Well the the higher your character level the higher your luck can go. Luck only helps when you are barely starting to open up cores for rare blades. The more blades you have the harder it is to get more. So when you're down to last 2 or 3 rare blades that you need, it's no longer about the Luck stat. All RNG at that point :/
the avaragegamer I know and it sucks, in fact I'm not even that convinced that it makes that much of a diffence early on as well, I mean I'm only 5 blades short and I got most of them out of common core crystals with a luck stat of 300 or less for each character, and I didn't even used that many core crystals, the last one (and harder to get so far) was perun and I used 50 cores to get her, after that, all of the sudden I've wasted 100+ core crystals so far and nothing, monolith or nintendo should really patch this, it's extremely unfair specially when you can clearly see the shadows of the blades flash trough while bonding, I've been hunting down ursula since the begging and so far I've seen only her shadow more than a 100 times.
+Omar Reyes I don't see why people want them to patch the chances of getting them. I mean if you are to get them easily then what's the point of them being a "Rare Blade". They might as well just make them common blades. Might as well get rid of Rare Cores and Legendary Cores as well. Grinding for them is what makes it so satisfying when you actually get them. At least for me it was. This is a Grindy game so it's no problem for me to grind for the blades, otherwise wouldn't have 280 hours into the game. I have not yet wished they would patch the chances to summon them. Sure it can be frustrating and tedious, but it's worth it in the end. Again, This is just how I feel.
all of that would be great if it weren't for the fact every blade has its own story arc, this are not just rare Items they're hidden characters, and this is not grinding, this is pure luck, random, grinding is something you should do bacause you want to, not something necessary to see the whole story of the game, even if they are side stories.
if legendary core crystals don't guarantee a rare blade, what's the point of making them so difficult to find, hell you said it yourself what's the point of common, rare and legendary, they might as well just be core crystals.
Pure luck is not satisfactory, collecting special parts, raising level, discovering areas to unlock special items/weapons/characters (you know the sfuff you do for vess, praxis, theory, etc.) now that is satisfaction, your blades are a testament that you honed skills, explored the game and got a reward for it, as it is now, all you can prove if you have all blades is that you played a lot, there are other things to reach 280 hour of the game, and more fun, like trying to beat your highest chain attack combo.
again with the satisfaction, you have any idea how frustrating it is to see every single video they actually use Ursula as the image to show the rare blades, I've been chasing her since the beggining and then I hear someone got her on the very first core crystal.
lastly this is not grind, you said it yourself this is random, you want to see a game that uses chances on a fair ammount and can actually have you grind, try pokemon and the shinny pokemon, at first it seems they are random, but there are diferent factors you can use to guarantee you will get one with high stats combining said elements takes time and grinding.
lastly I'm not asking to make the common core crystals spew rare blades in the first attempt, but at least raise the chances a bit, or like pokemon have a combination of elements that can guarantee the 5 hour hunt for a luck raising item and weapon chip and legendary crystal wasn't for nothing.
Legendary core crystals aren't even worth the farm b/c you can get every rare blade from rare cores alone and they are much easier to farm. A Gacha system isn't suppose to give us what we want that's the purpose of the RNG. Luckily for us it's not behind a paywall like mobile games where you actually have to pay real money into the RNG roll Fate/GO for example.
I get at least 2 rare blades per 99 rare core farm without boosters. Luck is another RNG value in stat and tonight it confirmed it to me. My Rex is sitting 806 Luck and somehow summons Vale out of his ass with only 2 rare cores left lol.

Gold gear choker is not that great i have a couple of bunit chokers that are on par with it next that comet choker probably came from a merc mission like the Goddess choker does

+afromarco005 It gives you a higher chance at summoning rare blades. Although it's more helpful when you don't have any rare blades at all. The more rare blades you have the harder it is to get more. After that, RNG is what determines if you get a rare blade or not.
