Since New Donk City was revealed as a map, I hope they would add different locations from different Mario games like peach’s castle, or Rosalina’s observatory or Isle Delfino from sunshine, and with those maps, they would have different stage hazards

I’m not planning on buying this, nor do I even like golf in the first place, but for some reason I still watched this video. I know the charismatic hosts must have something to do with that, and Mario games quite wholesome as well.
Just a tip for all future Mario golfers watching this footage, the reason their putting game is somewhat awful in the first segment of this showcase is because they were attempting to take wind into account during putting. Wind DOES NOT affect putting in Mario Golf games, only take the lie of the green into account when you're putting. Can't wait for this game, Mario Golf games give me life.

Mario: Tennis Aces is that one game everyone bought, played it for about a week, and never played again lol. At least with this game it has better overall better modes, abilities, characters, costumes, and a WAY better story mode. I mean, who doesn’t want to play as King Bob-omb and Pauline?
Surely having a LOT more content showing that they put a lot of effort trying to make this one sell. Mario Tennis you know, it sells well for just existing and it kept lacking content since the gamecube, that's why i personally felt dissapointed with the last installment despite it being the most successful one.
Just mentioned that to my friend an hour ago. Booted up Mario Golf Toadstool Tour and showed him all the quality of life and genuinely nicely detailed aspects that Super Rush is missing, now speculated to include a manual swing mode. There aren't even any dynamic camera angles in this game. 19 Years. Let's hope this holds up okay.
Usually a lot of these golf games have uninspired information layout, or the color pallet looks bland. That doesn’t look the case here at all. This does look good for sure. Kinda surprised.

The tap in feature is probably my favorite thing hahaha nothing more frustrating than trying to double tap A and either hitting it too fast and hitting it an inch or too slow and hitting it too hard. That killed me on the GBC
One thing I hope they add in the free updates are more unique specials and dashes for each character. Several characters look like they share the same generic explosion on impact or straight line bulldozing shot when going on the offensive. Other than that, the game looks amazing. I never thought I would say this, but I'm hyped to play some golf!
mario golf has never been especially difficult, but usually the special shots have a bit of difficulty (or even randomness if i remember correctly) which make it a bit tougher.
@DooDooBumMan Doesn't look like it, actually. The only thing that I've seen to make it easier is the tap-in, and that's a lot more realistic than having short putts be really hard to time.
With new Metroid and Zelda games coming out, I'm most excited for this and Advance Wars. Me and my friend used to have epic battles playing Mario Golf for Gamecube. This game looks absolutely awesome!

It's golf, not necessarily the most enticing sport for kids, at least from what I see compared to baseball, soccer or even tennis - still this looks very interesting so I do feel recommending this.
Part of me hopes that they bring back Plum in the future updates. It’d be a nice callback to the original Mario Golf. Regardless, I can’t wait to see who gets added!

Since 1999 they make twenty games and only three of them aren't golf/tenis and four of them aren't Mario games. Before 1999 when they were working for Sega they maked eleven amazing RPG's

Yes, other aspects like wind and course number are very sterile looking too. In Toadstool Tour for example it looked so playful and with love in the details of the UI.

Have to say, the game looks great, but, they need to look at some of the courses made for 2K21 to improve the quality of their course design. More grasses, flowers and other flora would improve the courses.
@@jackthememer1186 I'm referring more to the aesthetic of the course, not having stuff blocking fairways or whatever. For example, this game has the generic desert setting we've seen in Mario games for the last decade. In the GC game, the desert course had a more Egyptian theme to it, with sculptures and pillars and things like that. It had character and originality.
@@Sir_Robin_of_Camelot There is a Bowser’s Castle course and the Forest course has some rain elements. Also one of the grass stages has a wind gimmick.
I was excited about this game but I don't like the environments - I wish they were based on Mario locations. Hopefully the DLC will have some. New Donk looked like it might have only been for the Battle Golf or whatever that one game mode is called.
Is that the only zoom view throughout the whole game? World tour had the classic zoom view that was on Mario Golf 64. This will definitely make the game more difficult.

This is why I love the Treehouse over the others showcasing gameplay of their games. These feel unscripted and show genuine joy of playing the games.
Maybe this is just me, but I get the feeling from the hosts they don't want to be here and are forced to because it is their job.
