I think coach is more classic and MK is a bit more contemporary and had such a huge popularity trend the last few years where as I feel coach as just always been classic and known. I love both. I don’t have a coach bag right now. I wore the crap out of the one I had and had to get rid of it! I think MK is amazing quality!!!! It makes me so mad when people say bad things about their bags. I have coach, I have Dooney and Burke .I have Michael Kors .I do like my coach but I will tell you Dooney and Burke are made better than the two. I just recently purchased two Kate Spade , not sure how they last yet, like them, my newest loves are handbags made in Italy, made good and like that they are not made in China
Coach's leather is a million times better than MK, i stay away from monogram canvas, so leather wise, coach is definitely way better. I can't say anything ab outlet bags for either brand though. I typically stick with higher end luxury brands, but my newer coach is 10x better than my newer MK. Specifically, coach tabby top handle-all pebble leather vs the MK quilted susan.
I will take coach even in my sleep over MK. I have had 3 of my MK bags just crack or tear. Meanwhile, my coach bag that I have had before them is still in awesome shape.

Anyway, I just bought my first MK bag at Macy’s and I’m absolutely in love with it. I never thought I would say that, but it’s so cute and classy (in my opinion). I have many Coach bags and they’re great, but I don’t really think they’re worth the price. But that how I feel about my LV bags too. LV bags are made so poorly compared to what you’re paying. Sadly these bags are not made they way they were when they first came out. Coach leather used to be so much better back in the day…not so much now.
Coach all the way! I loved my coach bags, I still had them when I was in middle school until now! Their bags are the best design and quality along with my Kate Spade bags. 😍I used to have some Michael Kors bags but then I gave them away to my mom and my grandma because I don’t like the quality of them and the MK is way overrated in my opinion. 😅
Kors is better for more room than coach in the same size purses. Kors have large compartments in the center with traditional front and rear inside compartments. Coach has less room in similar size purses. Coach is the file cabinet of purses. Where Kors is the drawer. The downside of Kors are the large gaudy logos. Newer printed Kors name on the bags is classier and small mk round logos off to the side aren't bad. End of Story . Two many compartments in Coach get in the way IMO.
It's so interesting. You couldn't pay me to use Michael Kors. To me it's kind of tacky and too logo inspired. They do sell them at marshalls and rent a center so at least Michael Kors is making their products more accessible.
I’ve never had a coach break down as much as the MK bag I had. The piping was peeling off and the structure broke down in the first year. I only update my bag every 4+ years as I get bored… so my coach bags are very well loved… but all of them have held together and look great for their age.
I'm so glad someone said it. Yes coach is way better quality than Michael kors. I bought my last Michael kors bag last week and hadn't bought one in 2 years. Michael kors starts threading early and the straps always fall after awhile. Coach uses real leather and better quality.
I used to always stick to Michael kors but Honestly it's hit or miss the quality is not nowhere as good as coach. I have to Michael kors bags where the strap broke and they start peeling and threading. I recently remembered my mom used to wear coach in the 90s and that bag lasted forever. She threw it out because she was angry at my dad and he was the one that gave it to her 😂. Anyway I recently decided to start a coach collection and I have ordered a few bags from their website and Macy's website. I can't wait for them to come. I'll be doing reviews on my channel as well. Thank you for this. Coach fell off for about a decade, but they've made a big comeback in recent years with top-notch designs and craftsmanship. LV is completely overpriced and oversaturated, and the amount of high-quality fakes have really damaged the name. I have a few Gucci sunglasses and duffle bags, most of my duffle bags and briefcases are Coach, Ferragamo, Gucci, Jack Spade and Ted Baker.
Dooney bags are fantastic I have some duties that I’ve had for 1520 years their leather is fantastic and they are really good some of my Dooney bags have a outlasted my coach bags and I like some of my Michael Kors but I do agree but you have to add Dooney in there because they are fabulous

Coach bags are durable, can carry heavy weight without breaking and it's light.

I have a Dooney for over 25 years and it's still great. I love my coach bags and only recently owned a MK.
Coach bag over MK any day. MK is unoriginal and rips of all the styles from other brands. COACH had better quality overall
