I think Pickford is a great shot stopper, but he has to command his area better. He stays of the goal line too much for corners, and this season we have paid the penalty for that. Also, I think we are missing Onana big time. He was often brilliant during the game, but he always seemed to be steady and instilled confidence to those around him.

The only change I’d make to that XI Ped, is Timmy instead of Idrissa. But we all know Dychesaurus will start with Young at right back, unfortunately. He did ok at left back last week, but always has a terrible game and picks up booking(s) at right back
When your defence is doing a better job in front of you it gives the keeper confidence…..having tarkowski branthwaite in front of you instead of shitty Keane helps….branthwaite can control the 6 yard box unlike Keane he is just hopeless in the air and makes mistakes that has led to a few of our goals conceded this season……Keane no were near the team !!!

I don’t think it’s unfair to say Pickford has been poor, both of Son’s goals were really really bad that amateur GK’s would be told off for.
