I love the teamwork, family work, and nice to see the respect you two have when in front of the camera. Take care and thank you for another great video.
Thank you for sharing this Good Word, and may your local customers find a way to become the beneficents of your fine and expert work, collaborative efforts, and curated display space. May they continue to help your fine family enterprise both grow an' diversify. Be well, and I look forward to keeping up with you continuing progress reports.
Wow this is really coming along. Nice to see the progress you all have made, very nice. I have never owned a pair of socks with no holes in them. I didn't know you could get them without holes? I thought that was just the way they were, Amazing!! You all have a wonderful evening.
For Sure a Very Hard-Working Family. with Grandpa slogging away with all the mechanical stuff, he must be worth his weight in Gold. Greetings to U all from us here in South Africa.
I love the different types of timber (as we call it in UK and Ireland) in the US. It would be amazing to see the story of a log...dad felling the tree, daughters milling the log, machining in your partner business, mom stocking and selling in the shop, customer installing in their home. Ambitious but very cool. Beautiful product and the videos are so entertaining. Thanks.
I spent my life on my feet and I know that good socks are essential for comfort. If it's raining, snowing, or just hot, at least you can love your feet. That and good boots.
Advertising for the sales shop is very important! Hopefully, the potential customers driving by on the street will see your wood sale from afar - you pretty ones.
I love butternut. I bought 1100 board feet of a mix of 2 and 3 common. I T&G all of it a paneled a room with it. Sometimes it is called white walnut here in Indiana.
It is exciting to see the log yard expand and promote more than just that poo' over-worked LT 40. This seems to be a natural progression and one that should bring the family greater prosperity. Now...if I could just find an excuse to make the 2000+ mile trip, I'll be checking out the store. That butternut looks tasty. The store might also become a source for the oddball tree that always seems to find it's way into the harvest site. Ol' codgers like me are always looking for 'unique' wood, and especially wood with a story. I can see saying "Yeah. Em and Jade milled this up for me!" 😂 PS: I bet that butternut is gone in a week.
Emerald, and Jade, you guys have a great channel with plenty of info for us non farmer/loggers. I wanna see you guys loosen up and relax when makin a vid, please Make it fun, luv yas both! Respect to mom and dad!!
Great job with the show room guys! You worked hard to get there and now it's starting to come together. You're going to do well. The "Boss" knows what he's doing!
So great to see the store now expanding with it's products and obviously bringing a source of future income. I see Ken is rocking that winter beard 👍as I also do until the beginning of May. Jade is becoming so much more comfortable in front of the camera and that is a plus for the channel. I've been wondering about the repair to the mill and the repair to the skidder, a follow up video would be appreciated. Have a great day ladies.
I can tell the girls are home-schooled because they are smart! We homeschooled our two girls too, and they outscored their public-school counterparts on every standardized test, scoring in the high 90 percentile every time.
Hey Mom, I really like your setup for the showroom(s). All you need is a wood burning potbelly unit and a few chairs so people can sit around and shoot the bull like in the olden days. I'd say a coffee pot on top the unit is a must with all the coffee you folks go through.
Poplar is a very popular "paint grade" hardwood. I spent some time in construction with my brothers-in-law many years ago. We saw a lot of poplar trim that was to be painted.
Hey Ken you have a good thing going there. It looks great on the flooring that oak always has an excellent look. Excellent job ladies thank you for sharing.👍♥️♥️
All that flooring looks pretty good and with that building makes you all a good business, everything will eventually take off and going to keep somebody busy keeping up with it. Good luck to you all
Nice haircut Em. Is this an old video? I have similar socks. Smart Wool on the label. I use Iron On patches to fix holes. One on inside and one on outside. Make them twice as big as the hole.
Poplar's a great wood! When I remodeled our kitchen and sun porch, I did all of the trim, as well as ship-lap on the ceilings, in Poplar. Looks awesome! BTW, that zoom button seemed like it was getting quite the workout!
Your videos inspired me to look for a local small business that supplies what I wanted. Found one, a large slab of walnut that I am going to use for a piece of furniture with a live edge. Thanks for the inspiration.
I like that Jade is getting more involved in the videos lately
Yes, but who is the camera operator now?
@@DanPurdy1 For this video Judah was running the camera. as per Emerald's comment else where under this video.
Thanks. I missed that, as you can see. He has gotten older so would most likely be the one.
Yep. What happened to the oldest sister, will call her shorty😊? And big brother?
They are half siblings; having a different mother. She moved back to Minnesota and they went with her.
I love the teamwork, family work, and nice to see the respect you two have when in front of the camera. Take care and thank you for another great video.
An update on the skidder. Would be nice.
That butternut has an awesome colour ❤

Nice place, good lumber, the result of hard work. From someone I can see that saw milling was recently🙂. (Hi from Belarus. Harry Davidson)
Shellac will keep knots from bleeding through. You two are great together. It is easy to see that you think a lot of each other and get along easily.
Haha, as a carpenter I understand the beating the rain rush, glad you all pushed through and didnt let the water ruin the product!
Y'all done a really nice job so far!
Nicely done.
Socks and good boots and shoes are life savers. ❤ great video
Showroom is looking great.
Wonderful family business

My lord that poplar it would be a travesty to paint that grain 😂
Poplar is a very popular "paint grade" hardwood. I spent some time in construction with my brothers-in-law many years ago. We saw a lot of poplar trim that was to be painted.
Your parents should be sooo proud over you two girls 👍👍

The show room looks great.
I recently installed some knotty poplar T&G on my living room ceiling. Its a great addition to my home and highly recommend.
I recently heavily pruned my subscriptions. This channel stayed.
I need to prune as well, glad I saw this
@@freedom_323 You will be surprised what it does to the daily feed. Go top to bottom on the prune, makes a big difference.
Good job!
Nice haircut Em. Is this an old video? I have similar socks. Smart Wool on the label. I use Iron On patches to fix holes. One on inside and one on outside. Make them twice as big as the hole.

Great Job Gals , I wouldn't mind some of that Butternut .

"Darn tough" is my goto brand of sock.
Cutest sales ladies everrrr😉👍
Good work and looking lovely girls 💜💜
Socks ordered 👍
Awesome spirit of entrepreneurship and family. Poplar is one of my favorite natural finishes for an interior wall. Continued success. NC USA 🇺🇸
The poplar would make a nice organic lint seed oil finished wall with its naturally bright light color.
Show room is coming along well,Looking good ladies and gentlemen. 👍
love this little buddies o mine
You ladies are hard working..congrats
Good jobs 👏👏👏👍

Not a fan of pony tail or beard but am in awe of your Family operation.
