Cobain death or suicide ?! On April 8, 1994, Kurt Cobain's body was found lying on the ground with a gun to his chest. Following the news of his suicide in many countries, people took to the streets with candles, and some, in a fit of rage, burned Cobain's photographs because he was considered a selfish man who had deprived the world of his music. But was it a suicide? My personal opinion on this is that it was a murder, not a suicide; It is true that Cobain was suffering from depression and drug addiction, but there are points that can not be ignored ...1. Use a credit card Kurt's body was found on the 8th day, but investigations showed that he died on the 5th day. However, on April 6, in the early hours of the morning, a few hours after Kurt Cobain's death, his credit card was used. No time was found. 5. Different cigarettes Kurt never smoked other types of cigarettes, but under his cigarette were three different cigarette butts that appeared to belong to someone who had been at the scene at least two days before the body was found. 6. Interview and death of "El Doth" Aldon Hook, alias El Doth, was the leader of a failed rock band who had been friends with Kurt Cobain for some time. In an interview with a British network, El Doth claimed that Cobain's ex-husband Courtney Love (BITCH) had offered him $ 50,000 to kill Cobain by shooting him in the head; Investigations showed that the offer was definitely made and at least five people witnessed it. Two weeks after the interview, Aldon Hooke's body was found in a train compartment. 7. Tom Grant Tom Grant was the most important person to work on the Cobain case. He was hired by Courtney Love (BITCH) and this same person eventually blamed Courtney for Cobain's death, the main reason being Cobain's decision to separate from him and gain his vast fortune. 8. Michael Dwight Tom believed that Courtney had killed Kurt Cobain with the help of babysitter Michael Dwight. They were both hiding something from the police and Grant; Michael Dwight immigrated to Mexico three years after Cobain's death. Unfortunately, two weeks after Kurt Cobain's death, the police announced the cause of death as suicide in order to control people's emotions and anger. Tom Grant accused the two of killing Cobain five times until 1996, and each time he was silenced, despite all the efforts of Grant and their family lawyer, Kurt Cobain's case was never re-examined by the FBI.

You forgot the true first member of the 27 club; Robert Johnson. Died August 16, 1938. He's the blues artist who supposedly sold his soul to the devil at the crossroads in Mississippi.
The first musician/singer who died at 27 is Robert Johnson, a legendary folks blues singer and talented guitarist. He died in 1938. People always forgot him. He was so good that people think he sold is soul to the devil in exchange for his talent.
I feel like 27 is the right age to have been able to accomplish a lot, but be on the cusp of something more, hence the fascination with it. Anything younger and you haven't really had a lot of time to do much, you look more like a flash in the pan; anything older and you have a greater body of work behind you, so at least you've had a chance to really *do* something, and people can cling to that in fond remembrance of you, but 27 is in that sweet spot between the two, even if it has no statistical significance. There are always exceptions, of course, but this is how it's always struck me.
Yup. 27 is the start of your true late 20s too. But it isn't very late either. It's also after your mid 20s but before 30 . Perfect quarter life crisis age. But my generation (Zillennial) and Z's coming up have so much access to information we hit that before 27 imo. I'm 27 now and tbh I feel in-between what I could've done and before what I'm capable of. Just now mature enough to know what to focus on but not old enough to utilize that and reap the benefits. It's the start of my upcoming prime. And you feel it.
It's called "confirmation bias". In other words, it's when we as pattern seeking primates, notice the "hits" & ignore the "misses". When a celebrity dies at an age other than 27, we ignore the age. If a celebrity DOES die at 27, it stands out to us because of the significance we had given that age of death before hand. Now, the more people that learn of this "27 club", the more people we have noticing the "hits & ignoring the "misses" and the legend continues to grow.
Yeah….except you can’t do this with other numbers because not a bunch of celebrities die at the age of 33, 34,35 etc. 27 is a very young age so there isn’t a good excuse to why so many celebrities died at that age, wether it’s us looking for “patterns” or not. I know you feel smart for knowing your vocabulary words such as “confirmation bias” which is good and I’m very happy for you, but it doesn’t make you right.
In Tarot, the Death card doesn't mean you'll die, it means big changes are coming. Death can certainly be one of them but it's not a curse or harbinger of doom.
I've never heard about howling like a wolf one before. The legend is growing. Personally I think it's all bullshit. Only way to get good at anything is practising hard and really want it. What an insult to say he made a crappy deal with some angelic being to become a famous blues man. Sounds like a Disney movie to me.
27 is the peak of brain development. Einstein came up with the theory of relativity at 27. I imagine it's just basically the point where you finally get over the hill. And some, whether intentionally or not, will die atop that peak.
The special theory, not the general theory. Important distinction. General relativity was pretty much his life's work. Special relativity is just a part of it and where we get E=Mc^2 from.
@@stitchgrimly6167 meh. I get your point. And you're very right. But I never made a distinction. I never said special or general. And I would think his E=MC² is the most famous. And it's also his first. When he was 27. I agree the general theory was probably more significant for science. But he was a rockstar with special. It's what everyone remembers. That was kind of my point.
Let’s not forget about the most underrated member of the 27 club, Alan “Blind Owl” Wilson, guitarist for Canned Heat. Who also played at Woodstock alongside Joplin & Hendrix. He passed away due to a barbiturate OD & unfortunately died a virgin. He cared a lot about nature & was devastated about the deforestation going on in California. He was also an excellent Harmonica player & a slide guitarist. John Lee Hooker once said that Alan Wilson was one of the best harmonica players he’s ever heard & one of the best musicians he’s ever played with, for always being on beat with Hooker, whose rhythm was very difficult to catch up with.
Another OD. Making me realize that the elephant in the room about 27 is that it seems it's just enough time to do a lot in the world. But at 27 we are still young enough to make very dumb decisions to mess that all up. I can surely relate being 27. I feel mature enough now to know what to focus on but my early and mid 20s bad habits are still in me. But transitioning out.
I forgot all about him. But everyone seems to forget Mia Zapata and Kristen Pfaff and the biggest one of all Robert Fuckin Johnson. The man the myth the legend. That actually who started the 27 club
One of the lesser known members of the 27 club is Chris Bell from the criminally underrated band Big Star. Their first album is a flat out masterpiece. Chris left the band shortly after it was released in 1972 and died in a car crash a few years later at the age of 27.
Should have read the comments before posting. I also posted something about Johnson 2 days after you and others. Yeah, Robert Johnson belongs to this particular pantheon.

I think it would be interesting to look into the mental health aspect of the 27 club… of those that I’ve looked into (Kurt Kobain, Janice Joplin, Amy Winehouse) they’ve all fit diagnosing criteria for borderline personality disorder.
The Tarot card Death, very rarely actually means death. It most often refers to significant change, a moving from one situation or type of life to another, such as a new relationship, marriage, job, etc.
Kurt jumped the wall of the rehab facility, despite the fact that they had an open door and no one would have stopped him had he just walked out. Some need the romantasism of the 'escape'.
I think it’s more he didn’t want to feel ashamed walking out after coming in, Kurt was sensitive by all accounts and felt embarrassment quite easily and didn’t think highly of drugs or users.
This is a very naive view. People are often trapped in things that others don't see. There may have been an open door policy, but still HE SPECIFICALLY might have been kept trapped. Think of how long Britney Spears conservatorship was a conspiracy theory? Now she's seeing those people and letting the world know she truly was trapped.
Ive first hand been in a rehab facility anc detox facility and yeah sure the door is open they say you can leave when you want AFTER a certain amount of days and that's probably why he did that. I once ran away and escaped from detox before because they didn't let me leave. This was years ago but still I can see why he did what he did.
No one wants to openly announce their failures. Walking out the front door, he would probably be at least questioned by someone. He wanted to leave without having to explain why.
There may still be some connections. Thinking back on my 20's I went through a "destructive" period when I was 21-22 when I could legally drink. I had already been drinking for years, but now I could actually go to bars/clubs/etc and partake. Living near a major college town didn't help. After that I still drank, but slowed down on the bar hopping. Then something changed and from 27-28 I started hitting the bars hard again. I spent a ton of money and more than once drove home when I shouldn't have. I was lucky to make it through my 20's Then you have these talented artists. People with so much talent always appear to have much more tortured souls. Maybe that's what makes them so talented. Not only are they more tortured, but they have far more money, and much easier access to things. I could only begin to imagine what the likes of Hendrix, Cobain, etc could have accomplished had they made it past that point in their lives.

I honestly believe that Kurt Cobain didn't commit suicide. His wife had a hand in his murder. There was evidence to show that the suicide letter had originally been just a letter Cobain had written to Courtney, as a means of telling her he no longer wanted to be with her, and she forged his handwriting to make the second half of the letter. There were papers in her purse, showing her trying to copy his handwriting. They had mutual friends that were addicted to heroin. I figure she convinced one of them that she would cut him off if he didn't do it. The shotgun shell flew off to the wrong side of the room from where it should have gone, if Cobain had shot himself, yet there was nothing around him close enough to make it bounce in that direction. The autopsy report showed that he also had like 4 times the lethal dose of heroin in his system at the time. It would have been impossible for him to hold a shotgun, much less manipulate it in such a way as to effectively shoot himself. Sadly, given that Love was telling everyone that he was suicidal, that is what the investigation concluded. Although the documentary, "Soaked in Bleach" was a little embellished, it does give some insight to the whole event that led to his death. It has clips of the actual interviews with the PI that CL hired. That being said, my own son, although he was not famous by any means, passed away this year. He was not an addict by any means. He, I am sure, was unaware of his having diabetes. He got an infection that spiked his blood sugar to 2000 and got ketoacidosis from it. He was, of course, 27. Take care of your health people. Life is short enough as is, and no parent should ever have to bury their son or daughter.
So sorry for your loss. Life really is fragile. Who knows exactly what happened with Kurt, but him being murdered could be a very real possibility. Thanks for the insight 🙏

In astrology, there’s a thing that happens between the ages of 27 and 29, for most people at age 27, called the Saturn return, where the planet Saturn returns to the place where it was when you were born. This can be a very difficult and karmic point in your life. Makes sense to me. Marc Bolan of T. Rex came to mind. He was 29. It is possible sometimes for Saturn to return when you’re 29. I’m gonna look up his chart and see. Such tragic losses, all of them.

They accomplished a lot before turning 27 because there was no social media for every young person to waste their time on, a lot of time is wasted on social media. Social media and technology is destroying humanity.
If you look into astrology, we all have something that comes up as a Saturn Return and that happens every 28-31 years so around age 27 we start feeling that pressure and it effects us all differently. It’s calls on us to create structure to start building a foundation for the next 30 years. I believe the pressure to progress and go onto the next step of adulthood might have taken them early, as most of these beloved artist had intense internal and emotional issues and some type of addiction issue. I think if we don’t start stripping away what no longer serves us, we suffer more and in some cases it is more severe. So sad. I’m not saying this is the only reasoning and you don’t have to resonate with astrology, it’s just my opinion. I wish we could’ve seen the art they would’ve continued making, most of the 27 club are some of my favorite artists. Living on forever through their voices and I’m not gunna lie I’m high key OBSESSED lol rip beautiful souls ❤

Shannon Hoon was the lead singer and primary songwriter for Blind Melon. He was found dead of a heroin overdose on their tour bus upon arriving in New Orleans. He was 28 at the time of his death, and therefore I'm convinced is not as well remembered as he would have been had he died just months sooner. He had plenty in common with the others in this group. Just not the thing the club was named for.
Most of these are due to addiction because people with huge musical talent also tend to be eccentric and struggle with mental health. They have easy access to drugs and tons of money and they're young and stressed and probably nervous a lot of the time. People stigmatize drug addiction so much when the underlying causes for it usually stem from mental health and trauma. The fact it's so stigmatized is a major reason why we lose so many people.
Its very superstitious. 27 is just a number, don’t spend your energy overthinking it and just be creative. You can always accomplish before, after and during. Best of luck with life!

Here's another weird one. In October 1969 a story was written that Paul McCartney died in a car crash in 1966 and was replaced by a look alike. Paul would have been 24 when they claimed he died, but the story broke when he would have been 27 years old.

Well said
If Beethoven had died at 27 we would miss all of his symphonies plus 90% of the music he is famous for.
He wrote the 5th symphony at 36.
Well I disagree with that 2Pac was 25
Nah. You’ll notice that you knew nothing when you were 27. To have been this big at that age is not accomplishing a lot at the right age. Is genius.
Yes. Such as Jeff buckley who died at 30.
@@kati1017 or any of the other thousands of musicians.
I always had this idea when people asked questions of this type but I never knew how to explain it. Thank for the "hit/miss" explanation.
Yeah there’s millions of musicians and actors. You could make a club of any death age because of the sheer number of people that have died.

That was kind of my point.
That's ridiculous. 27, over the hill? o......k......
I don’t think Albert relatively came up with the theory. Probably someone else.
@@HippieVeganJewslim who would that be?
I’m curious to know when was his contract up and just how long after it did he pass ?
How do you die a virgin being in a popular band during the sexual revolution?!?!
Damn man. Imagine playing at Woodstock but never getting laid. That's wild.

The Tarot card Death, very rarely actually means death. It most often refers to significant change, a moving from one situation or type of life to another, such as a new relationship, marriage, job, etc.
Xactly it means new begginings not death.. or else i would-be been dead a long time ago

Brian Jones is my all time favorite and Jim Morrison
Mie Boegh. there r many who knew Mr Jones and haven`t forgotten him.
I was lucky to make it through my 20's
Then you have these talented artists.
