I had to come and live in France to discover this guy - he's big here (no pun intended). This version is OK but you have to hear the live version on Electric Chubbyland. Eat your heart out SRV. He is amazingly creative melodically and harmonically and likes to play "outside the box". Wonderful.

I have numerous cds of his and love to listen to him. My favorites are "Big Man Big Guitar", which opens with Hey Joe, and "Deliveries After Dark". When I get mad or have a few drinks I love to put him on and crank it up. Or when I just feel like listening to some good jams!
the only time i've seen "hey joe" performed by someone other than jimi hendrix and roy buchanan where it doesn't sound pretentious this is great blues and it sounds fresh
wow, this guy has a lot of great jam skills. good improv. great stage presence - don't see a lot of big guys fronting a band. just hope i can make it to the detroit area to see him.
Chubby is showing licks that Jimi didn't even do. Not better or worse just different. His timing timing flows just fine with the licks he wants to use. Really nice job and the vibrations do send a nice sonic shock wave. That is the most important thing in music.
