This is great and all but where's the option to change teams midsaves. That is arguably one of the main features holding this game back. It gets boring by S3 and changing teams extends the game lifespan.
If changing teams ain’t in this game, I ain’t buying.
We have nothing to share about team switching... yet 👀

I wish you could see growth across seasons in a graph. the last game didn’t have the option to see your progress across seasons and I felt like that hurt my experience with it. part of the fun is seeing where you started.

For me it’s some of the really simple and basic things that needed to be improved.
For instance, PLEASE tell me that when a driver moves teams they keep their official helmet and the car number updates to the design of the team they have joined…
Don’t remember EVER playing FIFA and a player that’s signed for another team playing with his old teams name and number design on the back of his shirt.
It’s these types of little things that can make the development feel lazy.
Some of these new features are nice, but I don’t recall anyone crying out for race reply…
Why is the pit lane so empty again?
I really hope a ‘create a team’ feature is added. Will be so cool to design the livery and see it in action, maybe have a different livery for a few races like mclaren did this year.

Whilst we acknowledge the potential for custom teams, the focus this year has been on refining the current career mode to provide a more rewarding experience, adding depth with features such as Pit Crew training mentioned in the video above. Appreciate your feedback on this and custom liveries and will pass it on!

I followed this game since f1 manager 22 and it maybe the best manager car game i ever seen. The game does look cool but, it need more ideas to make it more perfect like making it enjoyble for the community and me. Im looking for it to buy the game when its release.

The fact that the game doesn't have a difficulty setting is totally unacceptable. The biggest F1M 22 flaw was short-lived saves. You are dominant by year 4 in almost any car.

Im glad theyre putting the cosmetic things like custom team qnd helmets to the side and focusing on the bknes of the game. I throuroughly enjoyed the game laat yr. It would be nice to quick sim a race to advance seasons faster.

Features needed for future
Honestly pretty disappointed with this year, hard to really see this game getting a better treatment.
We need theses features honestly
-Custom driver: be fun to create a driver
or many and watch them rise from f3 to f2 and f1.
-Custom team and engine: would be amazing to start our own team, grow it, select sponsors, heck if money you want more release a livery editor for a extra 10$ to help cover licensing, add fake sponsors too.
- Durability and reliability department: Add a extra department that make sure the construction of parts are properly done, if you rush or emergency there chances part fail mid race, add engine maintenance once it reaches a certain level you might have misfires, overtake not working, lost of power suddenly that forces a dnf and add those to the game as part of why car pull over to the side of the track.
- add driver academy both existing and custom team allowing to develop talents and rating. Once signing the driver as third you can have events where they can help out by using simulator or be at track side, leveling them up aswell that you assign to them before race weekend, prime exemple is Mercedes and mick shumacher, how he and the team worked hours on end in the simulator to test different set up for qualifying that lead to them understanding and setting up the car for a double podium.
-add a championship screen for driver's and constructor (hopefully you did this year) but last year it was so heavily anticlimactic when you wom, only a EMAIL telling you that oh you won, like wow.
-new voting system, allow us to put up a vote for the next regulations changes even add the ability to vote for more tyre wear making races have more stop or less tyre wear. Have us vote to use all three compounds in a race, change the qualifying format to silly things like Q3 one shot qualifying.
-add information on tracks for qualifying if it is best to run the car in free air or in traffic for slip stream (Monza slipstream, monaco free air)
-allow us to get offers from different teams with also a perk system, exemple you playing Alpha Tauri, get a offer by red bull to take over the main team, you can accept of deny, accepting will give you 5 perk points where you can use to abilites like better finance's (reducing cost for repairs or building facilities through better construction contacts) etc etc, resigning with the team can also give you bonuses for longevity too.
- Difficulty slider: allow us to make it easier or harder to get money, faster ai development and upgrades
-Better weather information and able to see it before race start
-Formation lap optional.
You say youre dedicated and formula ome fans. ACTION not Words prove that and right now youre struggling to prove how much you care, how eager you are to make the game better, the lack of communication on content the community asked is also frustranting
Dont get me wrong, I WANT this game to succeed but to do so you got to listen to your community that arent just casual players neither some are yes but alot are dedicated
But you guys got to talk to us more, give us updates on why, tell us "hey FIA and Formula One doesn't want us to do X and Y and why"
Again actions speak louder than words and alot of the community doesn't trust you, doesn't feel like you care and only here for the money. Just released everything and all features and don't break it up into early add on but instead fine tune it and add little details, build your foundation and then add the roof. Dont add your foundation one brick at a time every year.

@@ChristIceman Yeah but that progress can't be done in a year, I don't remember but they have a license till 2026 or smth, I forgot, I'm sure that things will be getting added but treat it like other yearly game releases, like NBA, FIFA, F1 or even Call of Duty

Still not sold on this game doesn’t seem like there has been many major changes. if you added something like the livery’s updated each season to a random livery or teams could get taken over by other company’s that would be cool as because it would add a more interesting career mode experience and remove any type of repetition which was a major problem with last years game.

Maybe a driver career mode could be added next year along side a my team or being able to start careers from older seasons like in nba2k when you can start from 1984 and go over 100 year into the future I know it isn’t that simple but I’m sure you can figure it out in a years time.

About the crashes will there be any flip crashes to happen in a race if there is I WILL SPEND MY MONEY INSTANTLY ON F1 MANAGER 23

Would be cool to have my crew trained on not making mistakes to then profit of others making one.
Such a big fuss made over what should be a minor feature is worrying. So much potential in this game but if you're going to drip-feed improvements I'll buy every 3/5 years instead of yearly. Such a missed opportunity.
It’s a shame that this is one of the main focuses on this years game when generally it’s only going to save 1 or 2 seconds per race 🤷♂️ I’d have thought. And therefore, will barely affect the outcome of the race.
I think I’ll pass on this years title until bigger changes are made. Like the ability to add your own 11th team or the ability to change teams mid save.

Why is bottas a 86?
F1 manager/Frontier keep responding to feedback with the generic ‘we’ll pass it on’. What actually has been passed on? Because no one asked for this or race replay mode so have you guys taken aboard anything that was criticised about last years game? The fact this was one of the three main features shows how ludicrous paying another £40 would be, this is a minor update not a feature.

this has good bones but the new people looking into buying this game will be scared away from this. the UX focus is all over the place . There needs to be a demo version of this .
was there a graphic downgrade? that trailer looked like it was made by a 7 year old with Microsoft Paint.
Try mastering the intricacies of the racing before making training and other areas over exhausting. More stats, more realism, driver progression needed more work than team training in all honesty! Ace the simple stuff before messing up the complicated stuff 👍
Looks like F1 2022 with a 2023 patch update. This should not be a full release.

Knowing Frontier: Put everything on max Training, even if fatigued, sacrifice the first couple of races or even the season, have an insane pit crew in season 2 when the car is also developed...another boring feature
An entire year to improve the game and we got pit crews and replay mode. Very underwhelming.
A whole year to add a bunch of new things and all we've got is pit crews and race replay mode 🤣. They absolutely have to address the silly AI behaviour, so many random spins and crashing out even amongst the best drivers on the grid is completely unrealistic. Overtaking needs improving as well, sick of my guys just sitting behind the car in front even when I have DRS.
More variation and depth needed with car development and more variation in driver ability. The ability to change teams mid season is also needed.
I actually can't believe that the dev team has added such a minor feature in 12 months and they have the nerve to charge £45 for this game. Absolute farce!

Rightly so. We are the customers and they're expecting us to pay £45 for what is essentially a slight tweak on the 22 game. There is not enough content here to warrant charging full price. At best, this should just have been a £15 add on to the 22 game.

They gave too much focus and depth to this dumb pit crew feature while other aspects of the game are missing.
There is no "Create your own Team"...no Powertrain performance progress and development...
This game needs the feature to build your own Powertrain Design Center or at least the 4 manufacturers developing their engines and not be the same every season.
It is really dissapointing that the gamers and even the developers dont know what to do with the game.
Only worth getting if;
- get rid of the commentary, just annoying
- be able to manage other teams during career
- new engine manufacturers
- regulations should go as far as Grand Prix Manager, e.g. remove ERS/DRS, add new driver aids
- revamp the design of next years car, make suttle changes to the chassis so it looks different to next year
- lack of young male superstars, see younger talented drivers in the smaller teams
- just like with drivers we are not seeing future stars at staff level
- not sure why there are so many female drivers when we haven't even seen one female race on the F1 track, needs reducing
There's more I could add but this is just a start, the game is just too generic.
😂😂😂 im done how did they not make this a mini game with either like a button timing or button-pushing that they can do that and even the f1 23😂 when you're driving😂 still no creative aspects, setups are still useless 😂 can't switch or get hired or bought out😂 drivers still don't have there own character bonus 😂 NO FEMALE drivers or fantasy drive lineup in the beginning even Madden figured that out 😂😂😂😂
give me budget and i can build game more than this one, teribble. they just update the things we don't really need
