Think as with any new game that has so many components to it it's hard to know what to put in and what not to.....just look at FM and the way that's grown.....and there's so much more that could be added there in terms of commercial directors that brought in by board etc n ya get lucky or ya don't for example......

Livery editor looks just like the codemasters one, pre generated designs with changeable colors
FM24 need to copy some things to be honest. F1 Manager drives away with some of the visuals.
Holy shit that editor looks better than what I was expecting with a couple of templates to pick from and then edit colours but being able to put sponsors where I want is massive

While this game is obviously putting huge effort, it is a completely different experience. Yes they are F1 Games, however of completely different categories, so it comes down to what *you* prefer. Me personally I enjoy both, so yeah.

Well done Frontier. I know it's easier to pile in lots of new things when a game is younger in it's life cycle but the fact you've put in several that will appeal to more casual and hardcore fans deserves some praise. Skipped last year but might give this a go now. Hopefully driver development is better than it has been and then it feels like starting in F2/F3 are the only real big changes that need to be made going forward. Then it's just about filling in the details of the other systems
I skipped the 2023 too but I think this one I will take it

im so glad the devs and creators for this game didn't listen to the hate of the "community" instead they took the bullet listened to the genuine complaints and the game is getting better and better!
They didn't take the bullet. They kicked, deleted and banned comments from different platforms cause they were getting sincere deserved criticism. Now we get all these functions 2 years late. And it's still unsure as to how much of a buggy mess it will be at release.
My predictions:
- Mechanical failures will be too frequent and random and people will complain about this feature within the first week of release.
- The usual graphical glitches.
- The mentality system not doing anything.
- As soon as the car models will be patched/updated the team editor won't work anymore.

DONT BUY IT. But stop telling people how they should feel about it. I played both f1 Manager 22 and 23. Both of release. And i did not have nearly as many bugs as in 90%+ of AAA game releases. What youre doing is not "sincere deserved criticism". its not productive. just saying everything sucks does not help anyone. and judging from this and you saying they deleted comments...
i have the feeling you had some comments deleted for very valid reasons. These Devs get death threats over games.

its not at all the devs fault. its 99.9% the boards of big companies pushing them to release unfinished games, cutting out features cause its "too expensive"....
The game will be 35€. thats what most games nowadays take for a DLC. STOP WHINING ABOUT THE DEVS and work on the actual issues

We need POWERTRAIN DEVELOPMENT PROGRESSION!!!
... and as the 11th team you should be able to develop your own powertrain if you're successful enough and possess the necessary finances! That implies at least one new building will have to be built at the HQ.
@@PapaBear6t8 This is exactly what I was thinking...that would be perfect:To build your own powertrain design center but I see that a bit difficult coming for this year's game. At least the 4 engine manufacturers develop their own engines to make the game more spicy.I hate seeing every season the same specifications on the 4 engines

The gaming industry has learned from Activision-Blizzard's mistake of releasing MW3 at full price last year. Much like the current F1 season, the pricing for F1 Manager 2024 is very competitive.

Next year a coop mode where 2 players can play together and manage 2 different teams
I think it would be good to have a mode where I can enjoy pure racing strategy, leaving the management of equipment, human resources, and budget to the AI, as it is difficult and tedious.

Very impressive. The one thing missing for me which would be the option to compete against one friend. I realise an entire roster of online competitors would be a logistical nightmare to implement, but competing against one real life human I do think is doable. I just need to rub my brother's face in it when I destroy him at Silverstone.
