Chicken is the fruit of the land. You can barbecue it, boil it, broil it, bake it, saute it. There's chicken-kabobs, chicken creole, chicken gumbo. Pan fried, deep fried, stir-fried. There's pineapple chicken, lemon chicken, coconut chicken, pepper chicken, chicken soup, chicken stew, chicken salad, chicken and potatoes, chicken burger, chicken sandwich. That- that's about it.
@@CaptainPoseidon282 How do you spell “Hello” in the Turkish language? The way kebab is translated into the American language is kabobs. We’re from two different country of origin, and words gets translated differently all the time. Same dish, different translation.

You forgot one card, Inferno Reckless Summon. I played Gusto in Synchro Festival in Master Duel and inferno reckless summon is very useful to ensure OTK by reviving gulldo in graveyard with pilica and then activate inferno reckless summon to bring 2 more gulldo and continue the kamikaze. Catch opponent off guard anytime they think they're safe after the chain of floating with the birds just to realize there is no next turn.
It’s interesting to think that this deck came in 3rd place for the structure deck poll, behind Ice Barrier and Cyberdark. But with that being said, I kind of wish they’d still release some of that support since the deck could still use the boost.
My favourite non-ritual deck! Used to solely play Gusto and mixed it with so many different engines. Even had a mishmash gusto/dark simorgh/antispell fragrance deck that had a positive winrate against spellbooks during their tier 0 era with dragon rulers
I gotta say Nova, out of the yugi-tubers I've seen your probably the most informative, and in-depth analysis of card themes & Archetypes, that whenever I see you release a vid I watch with great anticipation. Keep up the good sir.
I just recently discovered your channel but I got extremely addicted to it! I love your analysis videos, and you covered also some of my favorite Archetypes too! You also made me discover one that I adore now (Melffy). I hope that one day you will cover Cloudians too. Keep going with the amazing job!
I just subscribed to this channel and as a Gusto fan and player that been playing since 2014, I'm blessed! The last three cards are a great addition to the deck, and it makes a lot more varieties of play. I've been running wind-only deck with Gusto and Windwitch as the engine. It was a monster in Synchro festival! Anyway, thanks for the video!
i love this archetype and sphreez, it's so funny when my opponent leaves an unaffected irremovable infinite attack monster and using its own power against them. it's a shame that crashing and battle stall isn't as reliable as before
One thing to note about Tailwind is it makes Vylon Sphere playable in gusto. It's not good, but beforehand gusto was the only teamup where the effect of it's vylon counterpart was actually useless.
I found out about this channel this week and I gotta say. I love it! I use 2 new decks because of your videos! (Gizmek and Unchained) My birdies needed new places to search into so they found you and learned about themselves. Recommend this channel! I really hope you'll cover Kaijus if you haven't.
I used to think gusto was terrible. I was like woah, a synchro deck that can't use their floating effects which should trigger when used as material? That's so bad. Then I found out spheeze existed. Deck still sucks of course, but it's pretty cool
7:30 As a Dino player, I felt that personally. Did I take it personally? No because how true it is. (We sometimes *Y E E T* Petiteranadon instead.) A Dino monster that can destroy cards with their effect (Kyle from South Park): let's play "kick the baby"! Babycerasaurus/Petiteranadon (his little brother Ike): don't kick the baby Aforementioned Dino monster: kick the baby!
I like these birds, they're cute and very simple, they can form a small army pretty fast, whereas the archetype itself is not a top tier, but can still give a fight and headaches.
Quick lore question, but how do the charmers relate to Duel Terminal? I know Wynn and Winda are sisters, but you never see the charmers in any DT cards, and I thought the charmers tied more into the Endymion storyline as students of a magical school
Its exactly that. Not all card lores are tied to Duel Terminal. Some of them could either exist in their own world (World Legacy or Dogmatika) or others are tied to a location like a field spell (The Magicial Citadel or Zombie World)
@@patdav56 I thought that they were sort of multiverse counterparts and the charmers exists in the "generic card storys" timeliness given that Eria's spirit partner is Gigabite
Funny thing I run in my Gusto deck is Localized Tornado...shuffles your entire GY into your deck at the cost of shuffleing your hand in as well. With all the recycling that Gustos can do as well as some pre-set draw support, two (or three) of those makes your deck practically immortal since a second tornado shuffles the first one back. Has led to many wins due to opponent deck-outs. Also, first time I played Gustos was against a 5-headed dragon deck. Got Sphreeze out alonge with a bird (can't remember which one gulldo or egul). Opponent thought he'd won when he attacked the bird with 5-headed, but didn't realize Sphreezes' effect transfered damage. after summoning winda for free, he decided to suicide kill himself w/ 5 headed into winda since by then he had seen the cycle jam effect.
Other cards I run: Miracle Synchro Fusion + Ultimate Axon Kicker, Psychic Blade. Extra deck includes Magical Android (since half the tribe is psychic), Clausolas, Thoughtruler Archfiend, T.G Librarian, and Hyper Psychic Blaster. Icarus Attack and Laevateinn (to kill any annoying monsters that I suicide into). sideboard is Assault mode Hyper Blaster with trap.
This deck needs more support bad. Windaar needs his own upgraded form in a synchro, Xyz or Link. Preferably a synchro. Being that it's so defensive, if they give it the right support, it's defensive properties could be a lot more decent
"Nova mentioning Duel Terminal" Where is 3.0! Where is Sophia! Where are the Yang-Zing! Where is the divine final battle between Zefraath and Tierra! I MUST HAVE IT!!!
I had to make a double take on that card. It was a new support card which got my attention, noticed the music that I can't remember where it came from and vibed, then out came a pokemon reference. My mind was in full blown dopamine mode
Fun fact I just noticed : Laplampilica stats are the reversed total stats of Pilica, Descendant of Gusto and Spiritual Beast Rampengu. Pretty nice ref ^^
Honestly, it doesn't even need that much. The absolute best thing you could do to get Gusto out of the gutter would be to errata them to replace all instances of "When" in their effect texts with "If". This change would make it so that their effects wouldn't miss timing the way they do now, making the deck function more reliably, possibly to the point where further support is unnecessary.
My fave way to trigger it all, and it sounds weird, is an unfortunate report, and final attack orders. Unfortunate report gives your opponent 2 battle phases, and if the only target is sphreez, thats fine. Watching your opponent kill themselves on their turn is funny, plus it makes winda active
Well these birdies will blow away there competition but will they be a spring breeze or a vortex of pain let's see how Nova explains these flying psychics (I'm not apologizing for these jokes Nova YOUR NOT THE ONLY ONE TO MAKE PUNS)
These birds alone aren't getting you far. They might stand a chance of competition, if, you run them with lots of interrupting/slowing your opponents in any form, recycles, couple of trap holes/mirror forces, riryoku (optional) for the attack boost and mixing them with cards that can swarm the field rapidly or gives you fast access to your extra deck
For the love of god, man, it's GUSTo, not GOOSEto. Y'know, GUST. Like the wind? At any rate, I love me some Gusto. I've found that they really excel at being really hard to keep down due to how recursive they are; a solid counter to any deck who's game plan boils down to 'Big Monster Unga Bunga'. To that end, I like to add Spirit Barrier to the mix to prevent battle damage. Also, Winda is best girl, be she Gusto, Shadoll or Spiritual Beast Tamer.
Winda got corrupted by El shaddoll Core. With Pulao, Wind of the Yang Zing being her 'Shaddoll' companion, Core was the cause of the various mixes between archetypes with Shaddolls
nova said that the deck has a uniqe flavor but considering all the birds the decks probably chicken flavored
Harpies taste like perfume 0/5 would not eat again
