    This is really beautiful, just like your other box joints. I wish you made the plans available, even in your Etsy shop.

    That is awesome. If you made that a blind dado, it would be a real brain teaser.

    I like it. With the right jig in your machine it would be easy to get the lengths exact too. Maybe a refined holding jig could be your next project ;-)

    Hey Mirock, I really like that you fully resolve your projects, including the brass maker's plate. What sort of wood is the black material? Surely it can't be Ebony. That stuff is so expensive they sell it by the gram! Is it some sort of pressure stained material?

    • @mirockswoodshop
      @mirockswoodshop  6 лет назад +1

      Hi Mark - it is not ebony. It is our local wood. Bog oak from Dnister river. Specialistc said it has not less 1600 years. You are right it is pretty expensive. But my friend gifted me some boards and I used it for contrasting projects

    Very creative. Great product. I was wondering how the pattern will change if you round the corner, soften the edge a little bit.

    • @mirockswoodshop
      @mirockswoodshop  6 лет назад

      There won't be big changes with rounding I think

    Very good ;)
    We see: this joinery is stable to hold up to 250 pieces of paper! :D
    I think this is 20 mm thick marerial? Do you have tested the minimum thickness? 15 ... 12 mm? ... But the design is very small with a thickness of 12 mm. :(

    • @mirockswoodshop
      @mirockswoodshop  6 лет назад

      600mm wide if I will keep workpiece from front side and about 50mm Y direction but all depends of angles and pattern
