Today I am going to show an amazingly beautiful but very little known tourist attraction place in Muzaffarabad Azad Kashmir. The place is known as Sirikot and it is situated just 18 kms in north west region of Muzaffarabad. The road to this place starts at Saddar Police station Muzaffarabad. The road is quite road initially but deteriorated drastically after Shaheed Gali. It is on the border of AJK and KPK. and can be approached from Ghari Habibullah Town as well.
Despite very poor road condition the place is masterpiece of Allah's Creation. It is loaded with lush green plains and thick Cedar Forest. There is rest house as well where you can book your rooms in advance. I recommend to use 4*4 Jeeps for travelling there. YOu must visit this place to experience that unmatched beauty. Srikot is mountain area which is 3 hours away from Muzaffarabad main city. It is a hilly area with beautiful grassland and forest.It has a ground where boys play cricket tournaments every year.It is a very beautiful tourist spot where tourist visit throughout the year.This place has also very fantastic weather all around.your visit at this place became a memorable day of life. Sirikot meadow is located 20km west of Muzaffarabad and is accessible via a jeep track from Shaheed gali. you van reach Shaheed gali from Muzaffarabad or Gari habibullah via a newly built road. you can reach Shaheed gali from Gari Habibullah in 35 to 40 minutes from where you can take a jeep or ride your bike all the way to the top of Sirikot meadow. The best time to visit the meadow is April to August, after that the colors of the surroundings fade. There are guest houses in Sirikot and most of them are operated by the locals.
