The two other replies (rapeseed and cereal) are both wrong. Canola is NOT rapeseed; canola is nutritionally different than rapeseed. Canola is NOT a cereal crop. Canola is an oil crop - Canola oil. Also, what's leftover (meal) after the oil is removed, can be used in livestock feed, similar to "dried distillers grains" with corn. I know "just a little" about it because I actually grow it.
I know at Canola plants that I have hauled to they still call Nexera rape seed. It's higher in oil content and is used in Biodiesel fuel. But it will probably change.
