Monterey car week is our favourite week of every year where Monterey gets flooded with every possible type of hyper car. Everything from McLaren F1s to the newest supercars from Porsche, Bugatti, Koenigsegg, Pagani, McLaren and everything in between. Usually check all the big hotels and then drive between downtown Monterey, Carmel and everywhere around that area and you’re guaranteed to see great stuff

I’m going this weekend and next, what streets or places are good for spotting and also what events? I heard exotics on broadway is a good one, also I’m going on the first weekend, will there still be some crazy cars the first weekend? I know the second weekend is usually the busiest.

I slightly recognize the parking lot at the begining. I Belive they're inside pebble beach at the hotel.

Usually downtown Carmel, downtown Monterey, and around Spanish bay
How much money would you have to save to go to everything here plus a hotel for the week
Some of the events are really expensive 200-1200+. Hotels are around 2-5k for 5 days. Just a lot of money is needed for car week. 8k+
If you split with 4 people and don’t go to every event cause honestly even just driving around is great 3k ish each you can get hotel, food, rental and flights pretty comfortably
To make it as cheap as possible you can get a hotel room that isn't in Monterey for a normal price (if youre willing to drive 30 mins-1 hour) and not go to any of the events and still see most of the insane cars.

Which event would you recommend attending if I have time to attend for a day? (open to buying a ticket for an event)
The quail is definitely the best event but honestly just driving around the area with no event on the Thursday or Friday is just as good

My preferred segment to ogle is super/hyper cars from 1980s+, in case that helps narrow down your recommendation. Thanks again!

That was at Carmel Valley Ranch, the paganis are usually there after wed-thurs
