When I switched from mainly walleye fishing to bass fishing, I used a shakey head on a spinning rod, worked great. Since have added lots of equipment and tons of lures, but the shaky head is still getting them.
Somebody had to let him borrow that finesse equipment or either he traded a chatterbait for it 😂 Anybody that watches Steven Browning knows what I’m talking about about.
One of the reasons, I love watching him even when he throwing finesse he not staring at a screen , he fishes, not bashing ffs just saying dude a true angler
Great video! I always wonder if I’m working the bait properly when I’m fishing finesse techniques. I’ve caught tons of bass on a wacky rig but that’s pretty self explanatory, just let it fall on a semi slack line. But, with a shaky head and a drop shot, I’m never sure if I’m giving it the right action. I’m more of a power fisherman and love throwing topwater, chatterbaits, spinnerbaits, and crankbaits but unfortunately there are days when that stuff doesn’t work and you have to throw finesse. Sometimes when I haven’t gotten a bite for a long time or even at all, I feel like I start to overwork the worm. I’m sure there are times when my bait looks like it’s having a seizure on the bottom and the bass are like “nice try buddy I ain’t biting that!” I need to remind myself to slow down and that sometimes less is more. This video taught me a lot and I’m glad I watched!
Good job I’m watching it again! Lol. Good stuff I had to go tie some worms on my poles so I don’t forget, I needed help on my neko rig , I was fishing it like a jig, about the same I’m finesse man any way. Thx for the juice, not to many pros share this good stuff. Keep the faith! 👍🥸🙏
I dont like giving out my secrets but have u heard of the shakey shot something ive done for years run a shakey head with a drop shot a few feet above it with a minnow
I drove a truck many years that I bought for $500. Imagine having 6 of those laying on your front deck and your clumsy friend steps on them while fighting a fish.
