About Tonight : “Tonight” is a song I wrote just over a year ago, and it was one of the songs I am most proud of writing. You often find that you can sit for hours banging your head against a wall, trying so hard to write a song that just isn’t going to come, getting nowhere. But then, almost accidentally, something magic happens, when you least expect it, and it’s as if a song lands in your lap and seems to write itself for you. This was one of those moments.
To choose a song for my first single was a hard task, as Tonight was in a group of 8-10 songs that I had to choose between, but in the end I felt it was the perfect choice. In this song you can clearly hear my influences, as well originality, and as a typical Pop/Rock ballad I feel it is the best first impression of my music I can give. I played every instrument on the track myself and recorded the song at home, to a good quality, before having it mastered professionally.
