My name is JoCathy Brownlee Elkington, and I dated Elvis during the late summer and fall of 1975. We met at a World Football League game at the Liberty Bowl Stadium in Memphis, Tennessee, on the night of August 2, 1975. I was teaching school at the time, but I also worked part-time at the MidSouth Coliseum and worked part-time as a hostess in the press box for the Memphis Southmen Grizzlies. Thats when my world changed .

She never said if they were intimate or not. when he bought Linda a home that was a bad news for her because he meant Graceland would not be her house. Ginger should hear this story because she thought he was going to be with her and no one else but he couldn’t be faithful to anyone . I think Ginger was smart not to move in because that kept him interested in her.
This was interesting. Also around that same time EP saw Diane Goodman. There is a photo that he had taken with Diane G., while sitting in the back of a car, I believe in 1975. They were getting ready to leave and there were photographers nearby so the MM asked EP, if he wanted to wait to leave and EP said, "No, I don't care if they get a picture. Linda thinks that she's married to me anyway." EP told Diane G. that he was looking for another lengthy relationship and this was well before LT left in 11/76. EP was trying to create distance between himself and LT, which is why he bought the house that JC referred to. He had also bought LT an LA apartment.
@vicki6070- So true. LT always talks about her relationship with Elvis and how much they were in love, etc. But the truth is, they had a very tumultuous relationship. Elvis did not want to marry her even though she'd beg him to. Elvis had many "relationships" while he was with LT (Sheila Ryan, Mindi, Jo, etc) so she wasn't as special as she claims. LT also says she and Elvis kept in touch after "she left him" and that's so not true. Elvis dumped her after his MM confirmed she was messing around with his keyboard player David Briggs. She would call Elvis constantly at Graceland, at the hotels where he was staying, etc and he never took her calls.
@@lilyramos6752 Do you know when EP found out about David Briggs? 1975? Was that before or after JC?
Their relationship certainly wasn't all "sugar and spice." I'm think about that time Sheila overheard EP talking to LT on the phone.
In March 3/74, according to Alanna Nash's, "Baby, Let's Play House....," "Elvis and Linda had a terrific row over Sheila on the phone during Sheila's first stay..." "I heard a tone coming out of him that was so guttural that I thought, "He must be fighting with Priscilla." "I was in the bathroom and I stayed there, because I didn't even want to believe that there was someone in his life who could make him this angry. She was just letting him have it, and he was explaining to her when he would be home and when she could come see him again, and it was very, very, disturbing. He was saying, "You've always gotta do it, don't you? You've always gotta twist the knife so that my gut can't even breathe." He just got so vehement" I think it was after this argument is when she ran his credit card up $30,000.
Also, Larry Geller said, that the last time EP saw LT was the day that she got on the plane and left the "Cow Palace." Larry G. said, EP told her they would meet in Vegas, but that "never" happened. LT wrote EP letters and called him, but he "never" read the letters or accepted her calls. I think their relationship was actually over, at least in his mind, after the first year. He then started to see others and eventually openly flirted with women when sitting right next to LT. I say all this, but I still think LT is a "class act" compared to Prissy. I'm just trying to understand what transpired in the legacy of Elvis Presley.
@@vicki6070 I read (from the many MM books, including the infamous "Elvis: What Happened?") that Elvis was onto LT and knew she was seeing someone else. Elvis asked Larry Geller and I believe Marty Lacker to "spy" on her. They saw LT and David Briggs having a romantic candlelight dinner at a hotel and of course, this was reported to Elvis. I believe they said this was late 1976, right before Ginger came along. The MM said that when Elvis proposed to Ginger, he wanted them to tell LT about it 🤣 And we know that whole Ginger thing was a joke, too. It's just so interesting how LT proudly mentions how she was Elvis's gf from July 1972 to November 1976. Now knowing the many "girlfriends" Elvis had during that time makes LT not look as special as she thinks (and wants to believe) she was.

...I read how much Elvis liked her, his mother Gladys knew her. She toured with Elvis and Gladys was glad she did. Gladys worried about Elvis well being during the tours and Juanico will report to her.

...well I do not blame her for wanting to date Elvis. Probably her boyfriend was not meant to be the one. I hope she found a great guy to marry afterwards. This was a very short relationship, I wo der what happened.
Elvis wanted her to be with him 24/7 . She was a school teacher and refused to give up her job just in case it didn't work out with him. She was smart.

To be honest, this lady doesn't look like the usual glamorous girls that Elvis dated..gosh he spread himself around, didn't he😮 even knowing she had a boyfriend didn't stop him, but I guess if a girl was willing to date him regardless of her status, why would he care? No wonder Linda ditched him for David Briggs. Talk about Don Juan and Casanova. They had nothing on Elvis😂😂😂 Really starting to feel sorry for Priscilla.
Just imagine what Priscilla had to put up with. She must have developed ulcers. Although his relationships didn’t last as long as with Priscilla.
I rather feel sorry for faithful wives who divorce because they can't stay near a husband who is not the marrying kind. And then, after their divorce, keep their marriage problems private.
