Just realized suddenly right now, why do all the main protagonist are "Faceless Bald Men"? Edit: I'm not saying it's a bad thing or anything, just curious about this in-universe of snootverse.
Cause they're all supposed to be "blank slates" starting fresh or the fact they're referencing anonymity or being new. For example: Newa C. Count here I believe is a reference to Newgrounds when making a new account; Inco G. Nito is a reference to Incognito mode on Google and Anon Y. Mous is a refrence to being an anonymous account on 4chan.
There’s really 3 reasons, 1 they’re based off of 4chans anon who’s a faceless bald green guy, 2 both snoot and wani used it so now most fan games will as well, and 3 by using a faceless bald dude it’s easier to self insert
Mostly to follow the trend, Fan games tend to want to keep what made them inspired by the media so it would make sense for a protagonist, It's kinda part of the charm and of the official games charm as though marking it as part of the branding, Faceless protag in a dino heavy school. I assume as a theory and having listened to other reviews, they theorize in Snoot Game that Anon wanted to be seen as a nobody which fit as him mostly seeing himself faceless, it could also be seen as him putting on a mask or just seen as Anon never really paying attention to how he looks, Just ending up seeing himself as blank as possible. Inco on the other hand lacks a personality that truly defined him as such he was mostly under the perception of being seen as a blank slate in a fish out of water scenario, Maybe even Inco sees himself as being a nobody under a different circumstance. I also think it's just based on the typical anon look from 4chan while Inco is more based on Tumblr's Anonymous askers with the shades and a much more rounded face compared to Anon's more pointy and angular jawline, additionally also mocking the typical self insert look seen in most common media having all protagonists the same or very similar hair and body type. By having the characters also remain bald and faceless it allows the player to kinda see themselves in these characters even while not fully being them due to their complex backgrounds and personal history as Nickker mentioned.
