My question is. Storing battery in car for extreme temperatures. Besides checking on it

Keep an eye out for the newer model coming out later this year. Rumors are saying around 1000ftlb of fastening. It should be enough for even Semi lugs.

Soon batteries will reach a point it will replace cords. We just need that one break through to get rid of lithium ion.

beware this one is known for the battery continually falling out during use..and it was continually flipping the forward / reverse switch from the vibrations,,. because of the insane vibrations it causes during heavy loads. my brand new only lasted about 70 days..

Thanks for the heads up Mark, I haven’t had any issues yet in 3 years but I’ll keep an eye on it.

Cordless has no where near the speed or power of Air tools. Astro or IR puts Dewalt or Milwaukee to shame. Cordless is great for jobsites or weekend warriors but if you work in a shop setting air tools is the way to go.

If you had a big shop I can see the advantages of air tools for the speed and not having to charge batteries. I’ve used IR and $900 Snap On air impacts in the past and this DeWalt blows them away.

@@TwistedToolbox snap-on only makes great hand tools stay away from their impact guns. I use cordless tools at home but if I worked in a shop setting its air tools for everything except a cordless drill.

Alex, I’ve been using this impact wrench the past 3 years and loving how it works. I wish there was a video on it when I bought it back then as well. -Steve

@@TwistedToolbox it's an awesome impact wrench. I've had mine for 4years now and before that I was using an underpowered ryobi impact wrench. The first time I removed an axle nut with the Dewalt it felt like magic 😆 I didn't know such power existed back then in a cordless tool.

@@AlexKunstar I was using an underpowered impact for years before I got this one too. It's amazing how much power this thing has.
