У «Душі Народу» об’єдналися ONUKA та митці Чернігівщини.
Цей твір проводить паралелі між двома найбільшими злочинами росії проти українського народу: Голодомором 1932-1933 рр. та найкривавішим актом восьмирічної незаконної російської агресії - лютневим вторгненням 2022 р. Ми знову зіштовхнулися з тим самим злом, але на цей раз маємо величезну силу, щоб перемогти його раз і назавжди.

Natalia, soloist of ONUKA was born in Chernihiv.
Chernihiv is a city in the north of Ukraine. It is located directly above Kyiv. When the Russians invaded Ukraine on February 24, one of their main targets was Kyiv. They tried to break through the Chernobyl exclusion zone and from the direction of Chernihiv. As a result, for some time Chernihiv found itself in an almost complete encirclement. A very large part of the city was destroyed. But the fierce resistance of Chernihiv did not allow Russia to transfer more forces to Kyiv. In fact, this city saved the capital. But the destruction there is very strong. 20% of the city will have to be rebuilt.

Thank you for reaction Uncle MOMO. I like this this song and video. They are very heart touching these days. Yesterday was a day of memory for victims of Holodomor. Famine that was arranged by russian government to resolve "Ukrainian issue". Millions of women, men and children in Ukraine died during 1932-1933.

Nata & her husband are truly great artists and should be known worldwide for what they do. In regards the Holodomor they covered themes of that event in their Ukrainian Constructivism album. It's on Amazon prime to download. Its highly recommended. I've uploaded a couple of tracks.

Dear Uncle Momo! I am so thankful to you! ONUKA is one of the best in Ukraine! And this particular song is one of the strongest by music and singing. About history. That was in our past, but that time moskovian terrorists could cover from the World their crim. They have taken all food of ukrainians to the last corn (the Law of spikelets) and closed around all ways out of regions. moskovians repeat their terror, nothing new to ukrainian people, but this time the World can see all their crimes almost online, and I hope, we will be free of moskovians forever. You can not compare to ONUKA anyone as she is the best Ukrainian citizen.
You really couldn't compare any western musician to Onuka. She's a pretty rare talent in this indifferent, apathetic & shallow world of music. Criminally underrated with her magnificent music.

Uncle Momo, thanks mate for reviewing this. Good to get another perspective on this. The BBC reported from this bombed out church shortly before Onuka released this. It can't be stated enough that Nata should be more widely known across the world for what she does. Just because she sings in another language shouldn't be a barrier. As for reference to the Holodomor she was going to release an album back in February 28th, which actually covered events during that time. It was from the perspective of one of the Bauhaus architectural designers who went to work in Ukraine during that time. You should try & get Onuka to release it on her channel, I assure you it is stunning & very experimental in sound. Check my channel as I've uploaded a couple of tracks.

It reminds me of a Hindu mantra. Something between a song, a prayer that forms a spiritual „bridge” that links you with those that came before you and those that will come after you and a physical place that you hold dear because it feels like home no matter where you are. It's like the feeling you get when you are far away from home and meet a person from the small town where you were born, and despite not knowing the person, you feel this strange connection to him/her.
