To me it’s actually surprising that so few people are using crosshair recoil tracking or what ever it’s called. Since cs2 came out my spraying is on a whole new level.
Imagine thinking you can play at a high level with your crosshair bouncing all over the place. Absolutely zero “next shot” target acquisition. Learn how to tap strafe

I have a buddy who uses it and says it’s gas, he’s usually our entry fragger so I mean maybe if you learn it it’s decent but for me personally I’m a lot better without it.
@@mctoasty420 ye, i think its better if u get used to it but i understand what u mean. i have it bound to be enabled with primary but not pistol for this reason. ive also bound: bind q "toggle cl_crosshair_recoil 0 1" to be able to toggle it if i like. originally i was just talking about how the recoil map is useless tho, since u can just use this instead

Idk, really the only training map that made me feel worse, i feel like spray control is a muscle memory thing and visual feedback does jackshit other than confuse my mucle.
Never needed to practice spray patterns bc i go for/hit my headshots😂 the most i did was spray a wall after installing just to get a visual of how the pattern is, after that all i go for is strafing 1 taps😂 i dont think ive ever sprayed someone that wasnt being barrel stuffed😂 (Fyi it's harder for someone to spray a strafing target and remain in control of the recoil than it is to one tap a crouched target thats focusing on pattern control😅)

Cs go should run 1 of over 50 possible recoil patterns per gun, affected by movement and speed and if you one shot it goes exactly on target, if you burst it would be slightly more uniform, etc
I've always hated counterstrike's recoil mechanics, where the gun (and the bullet spray) go up but your crosshair doesn't move with it, so you have to guess where to aim to get shots, instead of actually "Controlling the recoil".
you dont have to guess, thats the point of there maps, you can memorize the patterns for all guns and control the recoil. it takes more skill than just looking down slowly
@@aleksi789most games where u can do this also have headshots that don't do 4x damage, u have to lead ur shots and account for drop, have to worry about ads and far more flank routes and the recoil "spray" after initial kick is still pretty bad past like 50 meters, in general aiming in CS is harder but it rarely feel as responsive, snappy or fun overall as a lot of other games, obv game is still goated cuz of it's core mechanics but it's not the fucking holy grail that every game should follow
I was on this map yesterday and every time I croched while shooting it stopped the spray. Idk if this is a setting or a bug bit it was a little annoying.

There was a map called training_aim_cs_2 It was theeee beste map for training flick shots with the awp. Sadly there is no cs2 version of it. This map literally made me the awper I am today

Even with armor, you still flinch some and thats why your shots dont follow the spray pattern.

That's why "follow recoil" is a godsent still, anything more than a 10 round "burst" is a crapshoot

When I fired it up it told me to update my drivers and I did just that and it worked fine, maybe try that?

Don’t do this. Spray on a flat empty wall, just control the spray to one center as good as you can, learn by muscle memory
