Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 - LED Tail Light - Turn Signals

- This video is about my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650. In this video I am installing an LED tail light from Bonvent. I’m also installing LED turn signals from Highsider. I had to install an LED flasher relay for the turn signals to work properly. I installed the turn signals on the original tail light bracket. I recently installed a scrambler fender on my Interceptor 650. The scrambler fender definitely gives the bike a different look and it looks very clean with the new tail light and turn signals. It has more of a dirt bike look to it which I absolutely love. This video is also part of my Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 scrambler build. The bike should start to look more like a scrambler over the next few months. I recently got a new seat for my Interceptor 650 which I briefly show again in this video. I’ll talk about the seat in one of my upcoming videos and hopefully I’ll have time to ride the bike so I can review it. For now it’s top secret. Hopefully the new seat is more comfortable than the stock one. We’ll find out. I really like the way the new rear fender and tail light change the look of my Interceptor 650. The new turn signals look great too. It’s going to take a while but eventually this bike will be a completely modified Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

Great video, lots of information and no fluff, thanks for that.
The mod looks great, as much as I love my interceptor it really does need a tail tidy.
Well done, thanks for sharing.
@Daryl Wootton I'm glad you like the video. I like the tail tidy. I almost got one before I decided to change the fender. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
Great video man! Unfortunately people who love other people's stuff legit stole all 4 blinkers and my tail light, since they were in a hurry they just snipped all the cables. Joke's on them because now I have some awesome LED's, I was looking for the color coding for the loom wires and this video has really been a ladder out of the hole of frustration I was in!. Much love from Mexico.
Neat job and great idea using the heat shrink on the indicator nuts 😎
@Jon Sherry Thank you very much. I truly appreciate the comment. Thanks for watching.

@Chris Pulham I can't thank you enough for the awesome comment. I'm glad you like the videos. I try. I plan on keeping the channel going for a long time. I'm gonna completely take the engine apart for mods in a week or two. Should be fun. Thanks again for the comment and thanks for watching.
Hey,,,,,, sounds great and I look forward to seeing your new engine mods videos.
Firstly, thanks for all the great work you do!! Went looking at Bonvent for that brake light but could not find it. Could you please post or send me a link? Again, thanks for your quality content.
Another job well done, looks awesome 👍🇬🇧🏍
@Kenneth Heldreich Thank you very much. I appreciate the comment and thanks for watching.
looking nice, I've same colour interceptor
Love your attention to detail. You would make a good aircraft mechanic.
@Me And My Royal Enfield Thanks for the comment. Man, I wish I could score a job like that. How cool would that be? Thanks again for the comment and thanks for watching.
great vid. are you able to point me to the correct relay? link possibly of the one you purchased ? many thanks. ride safe
Could you please share where you got the flasher relay?
Link for the LED flasher relay?
Also, How did you handle the ground? You split it closer to the front of the harness?
@Sarcastic Prick accessories.hitchcocksmotorcycles.com/accessory-shop/Tail-Lights-and-Fittings/43991
The ground is already split in the wiring harness from the factory. It starts out as one wire then pigtails to two wires for L and R turn signals. I just pulled back the cover/heat shrink and shortened the wires. Thanks for the comment and thanks for watching.
I wish you did all the instructional videos on RUclips.
Enjoyed the video! I recently bought the BAAK led tail light and the motogadget pin turn indicators. However, everytime I plug the tail light in, my F6 fuse blows, which causes the headlight and tail light to stop working. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
@jbbruce1 I'm glad you like the video. That's a bummer about the BAAK taillight. I really like that thing. I almost bought it myself. I still might. If the fuse blows there has to be a short or a hot wire making ground somewhere. Have you used a multimeter to make sure your connections are right? Is you have and the stock light doesn't blow the fuse, I would open the BAAK light and look for a bare wire touching the housing. Isn't the BAAK taillight housing metal?
@@my-enfield612 thanks for the reply! Yes, I figured it out, it was user error , not anything wrong with the tail light. Everything all working now and looking great !
Great videos friend. I'm a new RE INT owner and your vids have helped tremendously. Can you provide any information on where to buy the LED relay? Thanks
@Emilio Reyes Thanks for the comment. That's awesome to hear. Glad you like the videos. I got it from Hitchcocks PART No. 92311. Stay safe. Thanks for watching.
The horizontal balance of the tail ligts is not perfect, look again. The right light is a bit lower.
Looks good to me but unless the camera is lined up perfectly it might appear lower.
