My interest in politics came in 1960 with John Kennedy…I was only 10 at the time and I was captivated and was allowed to stay up all night to witness John Kennedy win ! He was a wonderful man and inspiration led our country, in spite of all the problems we had he was a great leader! The saddest days in our country was JFK was taken from us…but we have is marvelous acts he created for this country! God blessed us with his influence and leadership❤

Potentially excellent documentary totally ruined by completely unnecessary (and unnecessarily loud) background music.
Jean (@42:00) omits the bit where the family sent her sister Rosemary to a mental hospital and had her lobotomized.
And then her family ignored her for 20 years until JFK was running for president and used her to highlight mental illness, though he never mentioned his family was the cause of her sad state

They aren’t like a royal family. They are virtually powerless and mostly unknown today.
In the last, the image of perfection that they portrayed was all a facade.. and now we know the truth. I’m not saying Jack and Bobby didn’t have their good qualities and moments. But this idea that they were all so flawless just isn’t true and I think it would be more admirable to talk honestly about the family rather than continue to spew propaganda.
